IF YOU WANT A "TOTAL BLACKOUT" THESE ARE THE PERFECT SOLUTION. NO LIGHT GETS THROUGH AT ALL.. BETTER SET YOUR ALARM!!!

I HAVE PURCHASED THREE SETS OF THESE IN NAVY OVER THE PAST YEAR AS GIFTS FOR FAMILY & FRIENDS. ALL WERE AMAZED AT HOW WELL THESE WORK. HUNG THESE IN A FRIEND'S BEDROOM WHO COMPLAINED THAT THE INTENSE SUNLIGHT MADE IT IMPOSSIBLE TO SLEEP IN AND AN AFTERNOON NAP WAS OUT OF THE QUESTION. HE CALLED THE MORNING AFTER I HUNG THEM & SAID HE WOKE UP TO TOTAL DARKNESS & THOUGHT IT WAS THE "MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT" & WENT BACK TO SLEEP. CONSEQUENTLY HE WAS LATE FOR AN APPOINTMENT!! PROS: OUTSTANDING AT BLOCKING OUT THE LIGHT AS WELL AS INSULATING. MACHINE WASHED & DRIED AND THEY HAD NO SHRINKAGE OR FADING- REQUIRED NO IRONING & WERE EASY TO INSTALL. THEY HAVE A ROD POCKET AS WELL AS LOOPS ON THE BACK OF THE CURTAINS & I JUST SLID THEM ON THE EXISTING RODS. VERY WELL MADE ESPECIALLY FOR THE PRICE. MY SON HAS WASHED HIS NUMEROUS TIMES OVER THE PAST THREE YEARS AND THEY STILL LOOK LIKE NEW. NO SHRINKAGE, NO FADING, NO IRONING.. WORKS FOR ME!!! CONS: THEY ARE NOT THE MOST FASHIONABLE CURTAINS . THE FABRIC IS THICK & THE LINING IS VERY EFFECTIVE BUT THE FABRIC IS TOO "SHINY" FOR MY TASTE. I WOULD RECOMMEND THESE CURTAINS TO ANYONE WHO WANTS A TOTALLY DARK ROOM, THEY DEFINITELY DO THE JOB & THEY ARE VERY AFFORDABLE I COULD NOT FIND ANY "BLACK OUT" CURTAINS NEAR MY LOCATION THAT WERE AS THICK & EFFECTIVE AS THESE. I TRIED! THERE ARE SOME MORE FASHIONABLE FABRICS OUT THERE BUT THEY ARE TRIPLE THE PRICE OR MORE. THE BOYS LOVE THEM.

These drapes are rm. darkening not blackout

the color of greyish white are perfect aesthetically for curb appeal, the color has a tint look from outside. the fabric was heavy weight and easy to handle during alterations and pressed smooth on a low to mid setting with an iron. I had to cut mine down to a 29x43 size to custom fit (behind) my room darkening blinds. when both the liner and blind are closed the room is pitch blackout!!. now I have the needed flexibility to control how much light or dark I desire. my purchase was clearance at a greattttt… price. so I didn't mind the sewing.

Not quite blackout but so close it really doesn't matter

This picture is of my east facing window right at the part of the day when the sun is shining directly into it. It floods my living room with intense light until about 10am. I live in the city and do not like people to be able to see in my windows(nosey neighbors). I bought these not for the sun blocking feature, although that IS nice, but for the privacy they provide. They do that job nicely and as you can see my window is large so I had to buy about 8 of these to cover both the large window and a side window. Even buying 8 curtains these were affordable and look nice.

Effective year-round.

for the price, these curtains are great. they keep out the cold, and sunlight. I'm not crazy about the color and the texture of the fabric, but they definitely work. Measurements are accurate. The panels were wide enough to use singly on my windows. Another plus. I am using them year-round, so they are effective.They are washable, and can be dried in the clothes dryer, with no wrinkles. Really a good product.

These curtains are very good for blocking out light and insulating our drafty windows. We bought the grayish white color and it is nice. The material is also very soft and thick, which, as I said, makes for good insulation, but it also doesn’t drape very well. The bottoms flare out quite a bit because they are so bulky. However, I still give 5 stars because they do perfectly what they are intended to do and they are great quality.

Best curtains every

Best curtains every. We have them in multiple rooms in multiple colors. This was a fantastic deal, as well, with them coming in packaged sets of 4. We have very long windows in both our living & dining rooms and we needed 3 sets of these, plus 1 extra!!! They are wonderful at keeping cold out & heat in, plus they have a beautiful texture & don't wrinkle.

This is what I get for shopping on my phone when I can't see a good enough picture. There's only 1word for them: tacky. Like something a cheesy realtor would use to stage the crappiest renovation ever.

These are great for the price

These are awesome! They're soft, well made, and block out an estimated 90% of light. Plus, 4 for under $40 is a great deal. I bought these in dark grey for my boyfriend's apartment where there's floor to ceiling windows which did not help his insomnia. There have made a huge difference in our sleep quality.
