They match perfectly with our ECR4Kids SoftZone foam blocks

We already have a set of ECR4Kids SoftZone foam blocks, and these FDP SoftScape blocks match perfectly. In the attached photo, you can see the two brands of blocks mixed together. You can tell the difference in the stitching, and the older SoftZone blocks having slightly wrinkly covers. The SoftScape blocks are brand new, so the foam is firmer and denser. Each block is really firm and a little "crunchy" feeling, but I'm sure they'll break in with time and play. The muted colors in this set look great in person, and the simple cube and cuboid set makes for some fun configurations. Generally, FDP SoftScape blocks are slightly more affordable than the ECR4Kids version, but for some reason, that isn't true for this particular set. The FDP SoftScape blocks are about 30% more expensive compared to the equivalent SoftZone set. Perhaps it's because this set is a new product and the price will drop over time.

Softer than soft

If you have kids that play rough they'll have no trouble playing with these. They're softer than most foam blocks. While softer does mean lighter and crushable making it less ideal for seating or setting things on it is soft enough to be thrown around with out fear of too much mayhem. My kids love to flop down onto these and fight with and on them.

Great for Climbing or Stacking

We ordered this for our grandson since we want our house to be the place he has the most fun. We also are working hard to promote the idea that exercise and play are the same things. We have a couple of other FDP SoftScape products so this was a great addition. We really like this set as a way to help him develop balance and learn to climb in a safe way. When stacked individually, they reach over 6 feet tall. They are fun to stack and they are fun to knock over. The colors are great too. We were excited to find one with the same blues and greys as many of his other toys. Overall very happy with the "FDP SoftScape Stack-and-Play Building Block Set, Soft Foam Indoor Playset for Toddlers and Kids; Playtime Early Learning at Home, Daycare, Preschool (7-Piece) - Navy/Powder Blue, 14116-NVPB".

Good value

As other reviewers have said these are quite soft! But that’s perfect for my rowdy 3-year-old. Perfect solution for sensory seekers when you want to give them something they can explore movement with but still be confident they’re not going to hurt themselves.

Best investment

I have several pieces of these and they are the best thing I could have gotten for my daycare. They last years, I haven't have one tear yet and it's been about 3 years of 60 hour week, childcare setting. Kids from 8 months to 7 years play with them daily. They wipe clean, hold their shape, and stack up neatly at the end of the day. Definitely worth it

My kids ages 5,3 and 1 all love to play with these blocks and they are great for anytime you need to keep the kids busy!

Fun for all ages

We had these when my daughter was an infant and toddler. Some where along the way we passed them off to friends. My daughter is in preschool now and we gave them another shot, she’s having a great time and building them up high and throwing them etc! Definitely fun for all ages
