good-but level of security varies by weight
I purchased the 20lb vest off amazon. I also bought the 10lb version from a guy off facebook marketplace for kicks. This is a good product. I have used them for box jumps, hill sprints, dips, pushups, handstand pushups, ab wheel rollouts, rows, and pullups, and I am very pleased. The 20lb vest is incredibly secure and does not slide around my body at all. The 10lb moves a little, as the portions of the weights that stick out beneath the velcro strap flop around a bit (but it's honestly not that bad). So if you are considering getting the 10 or 20, i would get the 20 and just remove some of the weights. I have used some other vests, and this is by far the most secure I have used (the velcro straps are very thick, and the double straps work well). I read some reviews about how the feeling of the weights on the inside of the vest was uncomfortable, and I disagree, it never bothered me at all and I think they are very comfortable, unless you are performing an exercise laying on the ground (like sit-ups, which i haven't done) I have had the vests for a few months and they show no signs of wear, even the 10lb which i bought used. I haven't taken out the weights and tried to put them back in so I can't comment on that. In the future I hope to try a heavier size as well.

Great small profile weight vest
I'm in the military and I'm currently in Afghanistan. I bought this vest about a month ago and it fits great. I'm 5'11" weighing 165lbs and this vest is a pretty good fit. The vest is also pretty low profile so I can wear it underneath my camis without people noticing; they just think I look a bit bulky at most. The only real reason why I gave it a four instead of a five is because the shoulders are a bit rough. I wear the vest for 12 hours at a time during work and my the materials on top kind of rubs into my shoulders a bit; after three days, I had a slight abrasion on the top of my shoulderblades. If you don't wear it everyday, though, it shouldn't be a problem. I also wear it during physical training and it's really snug, allows me to do cardio without the vest bouncing all over the place. However, when I do pull ups and stuff that requires me to reach my arms upwards, the material in the shoulders kind of cuts into my deltoids. It doesn't hurt though, but I assume it'll hurt if you do a lot of jumping jacks or something. All I do to remedy the problem is to roll the material in the shoulders in a bit before I do pull ups, jumping jacks, eight counts, etc. Pros: Snug, doesn't shift around Low profile, can wear underneath military working uniforms Easy to pack away, no clips or unnecessary extra accessories Cons: Shoulders may be a problem if you have a really big deltoids or something My shoulders are a bit raw from wearing it 24/7 Kind of hard to clean the thing Overall: I feel like if I had the materials, I could just sow some kind of padding under the shoulder pieces and they'll be perfect. Also, I've seen reviews on amazon where people said that it's really big and whatnot. The item is adjusted around the stomach, so if you're too skinny around that area, then you are really, really skinny. Like I said, I'm 5'11" and I weight 165lbs, I don't actually know what the circumference of my stomach is, but my waist is a size 30. If those guys mean that it's really loose up top near their chest and deltoids are, then I can see what they're getting at, but I would prefer for that area to be loose because I wear it while doing curls, pull ups, and etc. Having the vest be snug around the upperchest area, where there are no weights, would be really restrictive on arm movement.

Very Bulky Vest, Not Short On Me
Ok friends. First of all the word “Short” as in short vest is very subjective! The model wearing the vest must be about 6’5”. On a person my height, 5’5” this vest comes down to my hip bones, well past my waist. Second, the model is wearing a vest that has all the weights removed, so in reality this vest is MUCH chunkier than it appears in the photo. Third, some of the answers in the Q&A section state that the weights in this vest are steel. Nope, sorry, they are sand bags which are very, very bulky. So if you think you are getting the sleek number the guy is sporting in the photo, think again. It is a sturdy looking vest. I think it will work for hiking and stairs just fine. I think it is too bulky for someone my height to do any agility drills in due to the length. FYI

Shoulders feeling it
Just purchased this weighted vest a week a go and so far it seems ok. This model does not come with shoulder pads and you feel that straight out of the gate. Fits fine otherwise. Can't speak to its durability as it is only two weeks old.

Really Amps Up the Resistance
Love this vest but found it wire hard on the shoulders. I added my own DIY shoulder padding which has helped. My husband wears the vest inside out to prevent any pressure from the weights and it works perfectly. Definitely recommended.

This is an excellent vest - provides great comfort and great strength training.
I use this product for strength training ????. It is comfortable that I don't even feel it when doing long walks . I am feeling much stronger ????. My hubby also uses it and he really loves it. I have already started recommending it to friends .
