I initially ordered one of these a few years ago. Then they became so popular that they were out of stock on Amazon for a long time. I finally was able to order another last summer. My boxers love them and they are very cold. Of course, after a time the body heat of the dog does warm them but the areas they don't lie on become cold again. All dogs, as humans move around when their body heats up. So, the dogs inevitably move to the cooler portions of the blanket as they sleep. I decided to order 4 more last week so I do not have to move those we have from sleeping areas to our vehicle. I was happily surprised to see that the price has decreased significantly. Grab these while they are still being sold for your cats or dogs. You won't regret the decision!

Awesome Blanket for my 65 lb Aussie/Husky Mix

OK, so I admit it. My sweet big boy sleeps with me in the bed-- actually wraps his paws around me as we fall asleep. Problem is, his thick coat makes him prone to feeling overly warm & uncomfortable. Found this cool-touch blanket & took a chance that it would help. HE LOVES IT! He did not want me to remove it from the bed to wash it, so I bought a 2nd one as a back-up. I got the XL size, which covers over half of my queen size bed. The fabric feels cool to the touch, as promised, & drapes & washes beautifully! It has a slightly weighty feel & is extremely well made. Washes well, spot cleans easily, & DOG FUR DOES NOT CLING! Can be easily maintained between washings with just a quick shake. The fabric is smoothe, soft, & pleasant to touch (same on both sides). It stays in place nicely & does not slip off the bed or bunch up. I love the subtle neutral colors-- bought one of each & they seem to look nice with everything. There is no cooling gel inside, & it does feel warmer under him as he settles into one spot for a long time-- but he LOVES laying on it, so it must be an improvement from his perspective! So glad I found this gem-- highly recommend!

We Love It…the XL Pet Cooling Blanket!

I love everything about this pet cooling blanket! I plan to order a 2nd for a spare. It was cool right out of the shipping box. Whenever I walk by it I give it a touch…always cool. My standard size Aussie has a lofty long coat and he runs hot at night while sleeping. We even run a box fan for him during sleep. He gets way better sleep now; not always jockeying for another cool spot somewhere in the room. He just rolls over to another part of the XL blanket. Like others, I will hang dry after recommended cool wash; for hopeful longevity. It’s always a great feeling to know your purchase was money well spent.

Very pleased

Surprisingly cool for being a cloth blanket. My dog is extremely hot inside and would love to be outside in sub zero weather but now he is more comfortable lying on his new cool blanket. It is large enough too most other cooling pads are too small for him even when I purchased extra large. Very pleased!

AMAZING - Just as Described

WOW!! I was very hesitant to purchase this because I wasn't sure it would be cool. I mean COOL to the touch. I was hesitant to order, I guess, because I didn't understand how it works. I have the Great Pyrenees, and with the amount of fur they have, they get hot quickly, and this breed is known not to handle well. I have to take a cold water bottle with me if I walk her & it is in the high seventies. I drench her with it mid-walk. I think I have bought every cooling product for dogs, which is hands down the best purchase I have made. After I unpacked it, of course, I had to lay on it to see what it felt like, and I couldn't believe it. It was very soft and cool, not to mention that it is a very well-made blanket. It will stand the test of time. I enjoyed it a little too much; my dog lost patience with me taking over her bed. So I had to get off. She walked to her bed and laid down. She let out this sound of AWWWWW and then fell right asleep. This is a dog blanket, and I am ordering one for myself. I am ordering one for myself. That is how awesome it is. If you are on the fence about purchasing it like I was, Don't waste another minute of your time. Do it - order it! You will not be disappointed. I would recommend this product to all of my friends and family 100%. I have the Great Pyrenees, and they have ALOT of fur, and they are known for their inability to handle the heat. Does Exactly what It says!

Lifesaver for my dog in the heat as he feels hot even in aircorn. This provided him a cool surface to lie on and when it got too warm, he simply moved to another area of the blanket. Cools down super well!
