Great for men, too!
There aren't a lot of products for pregnant men on the market yet. There should be, even though it's a relatively slim retail segment. As most guys with a bun in will attest, dudes need tummy support, too. Let's face it: in what is otherwise a man's world, preggers menfolk should also have the opportunity to participate in the fairer sex's merchandising niche of supportive pregnancy wear. Besides, my complaining and mood swings were starting to wear on my woman. She's very busy and hasn't demonstrated a great deal of sympathy so far. Suck it up, she says, like everyone else does. Nice. As this was my first pregnancy, I was anxious about stretch marks ruining my hard-won six pack. Loss of abdominal muscle tone was a concern and not something I had anticipated. My manager told me point blank that the agency for whom I've been modeling my rock hard abs wouldn't keep using me as I get mushier in the middle. Since I have no other skills, I was desperate for a real-world solution for the inevitable gravitational disruption of my money making man-machine. Applying lotion and vitamin E to my torso was nothing new since I already oil up before photo shoots. Moisturizing alone wasn't going to make the difference. I needed physical support and lift for my quickly-expanding abdomen; an invisible set of hands to prop up the goods. My back was starting to hurt, too. That's when I found the Gabrialla Elastic Maternity Belt. I'll be honest; I wasn't immediately pleased that it was called a "maternity" belt since this descriptor left me feeling a bit dejected and misunderstood. Anyway, I quickly got over that and carefully unpacked the belt with the anticipation of a child on Christmas morning. It was white, which thrilled me as I had expected black. Most guys choose black or dark clothing. But white is the good guy color and this helped me feel more connected to the life-affirming changes happening to my body. The handsome styling was also unexpected. This was a garment I could proudly wear outside of my clothing instead of hiding it between my wife beater and dress shirt. And the elastic straps are totally on-trend. I've been practicing stroller walks and I could tell they wouldn't interfere with my fanny pack. Then came the magic moment when I tried it on. The difference was amazing! I carry low and could immediately feel the weight shift to my back, balancing out the load. A total game changer. Gabrialla, you've really hit one out of the park for expectant daddies. Gentleman, it's time to cast off your moo moos and trench coats and wear this belt loud and proud. I'm now at 36 weeks and I've got my posture and balance back. It's also been dynamite for my sex life since my woman is now paying attention to me again on account of my perkier paunch. My manager even says the agency is considering a Baby Bump Boys photo spread in which I will be featured along with some guy named Bernardo. What a Godsend! I can barely express my thanks. I'm still not sure what to do about my breast changes but I'm sure a solution will present itself. We can hope.

Decent but not worth the cost.
Before buying, there weren't MANY reviews and the ones that were there didn't really answer a lot of questions I had. So I ordered it and now leaving a review for others who have similar questions before wanting to buy this product. Also, there are some heads ups. It didn't come with instructions, which both the company and Amazon have been made aware. The sizing is completely off- runs VERY SMALL- apparently Amazon is aware of that, too. I don't know why no one has updated the product information on this page, yet, but it caused some issues when I returned the item. Believe it or not, instructions would have helped to clarify. I may have used it incorrectly or didn't place it on me the right way (maybe) but it did not offer much of a difference, either way. I am 5'1 and normally weigh 108 lbs (I'm in my 8th month and at 130 lbs, if that helps you to gauge) I ordered a Medium because of other reviews and I'm glad I did because it fit (any smaller would not have fit) but even that was pretty snug. I'd prefer more room for comfort. So, even at my size, I'd go for a large. That lack of room may have been the cause of my opinion that this item is not comfortable enough to wear as it suggests: You can't wear it while laying or sitting because there's no purpose (since it's helping to carry the weight, when you lay or sit, there's no weight to carry), which eliminates a portion of why to use it. So, you would need to wear it while actually doing things that cause back pain: errands, bending and lifting, walking for awhile, etc. There are a couple problems with this. It does NOT fit discretely under clothes, so unless you plan to wear a tent to the grocery store, it's visible and actually pretty awkward looking. That eliminates another good portion of why I would need to wear it. The remaining purposes are to wear it around the house to do chores that require bending/lifting, which cause pains. I found it to offer mediocre support. It didn't do NOTHING at all but there are so many purposes to the band that were eliminated that it did not make it worth the cost and SLIGHT support I felt while doing chores around the house. I would say that, while wearing it, it offered decent pain relief (not complete but I could tell a difference). However, it wasn't lasting. As soon as I took off the band, my back hurt again...which didn't help for the other reasons to have the band, during which times I could not wear it. I'd say, overall, it's not worth the cost. I don't know if there's anything else available but if you're looking for something to finally relieve that back pain, this is not versatile enough to be the right item. However, if you're looking for spurts of small relief for around the house chores and don't mind the cost of that minor relief, then this would be a good product for you. I should note that I am mostly considering cost-benefit factors and if it were half the price (around $15), this item would definitely be worth it.

Could work - but very uncomfortable
Seemed like it might work for others but I found it extremely uncomfortable and so did baby. It felt like it was cutting off my blood flow.

Solid belly band for support
I previously had the atlas band that I used for when I was pregnant with my twins six years ago and then I bought a new one off of eBay in my 5th month of this pregnancy. I am now in my 8th month And the Velcro on my old band wouldn’t stick. I tried this one and and pleasantly surprised that it works just as well and was worth a fraction of the price and the Velcro on my old band wouldn’t stick. I tried this one and am pleasantly surprised that it works just as well and was worth a fraction of the price Of the Atlas. Yes, it puts a little pressure on your bladder making you feel like you have to pee at certain times but you get used to it. It is totally worth it given The support it gives you and immediate relief from pain that pressure without it puts on my varicose veins! This is definitely not my first pregnancy and I could say from experience that this is one of the best bands that I have used. To give you some perspective I am 34 1/2 weeks pregnant weigh 118 lbs and and measuring at 32 weeks (A little smaller than expected at this time). I do have a diastasis Recti (where am I am Domino muscles have come apart after my first pregnancy) and I am experiencing a ton of pain because of it this time around. I ordered a medium. It’s a little big but adjustable. The small may have fit a little better but this one does the job. The other belly bands I have looked at go around the stomach which I didn’t want I wanted support underneath my stomach to hold it up since I’m caring very low. Hope this review helps.

Brilliant for Runners & Other excercise!
I almost gave up on running at 16 weeks due to the discomfort I was feeling on my bladder and lower part of the stomach, then I came across this bad boy on an internet search!! It is brilliant. I would describe it as putting on a brilliant support bra, but for the stomach. Don't get me wrong, as it does not completely eradicate any aches, BUT makes running (for me anyway) a lot more enjoyable and that need to take a pee every 2 mins has gone! Just want to add that I wear this also when I use the cross trainer and when I do spin class twice a week and it has been a dream!

Great support for staying active throughout the pregnancy
Provides instant support, feels very secure using it for exercise and walking - stays in place too. Have been wearing this from 20 weeks and highly recommended it.

Good product, had to purchase a bigger size although i took measurements
Go a size up! Don’t get the size based on your measurements especially if you are still in the early months of your pregnancy!

Supportive belt
I’m a nurse, 28 weeks pregnant, and I’ve been getting round ligament pain after 6-8hr into my 12hr shift. This belt belt helps take the load off. I often put it on and take it off as needed throughout my shift. Sometimes it presses into my bladder uncomfortably, but for the most part it’s comfortable and fits well. Measurements are accurate according to the chart/ instructions.

Prenatal back pain nearly resolved!
I have long term sacroiliac joint instability and the pregnancy had also started to cause severe lumbar tightness/spasm. I stand/squat a lot for my job and take long walks frequently. This belt has made a massive difference for both areas of back pain. I don't find it comfortable when sitting so I remove for that but otherwise it moves well with me. I also have sensitive itchy skin and so far no concerns wearing it right against my belly. Been using daily from 20-25 weeks pregnant.
