Excellent back support

I started working lifting heavy stuff and started having pain on my back, bought this support. At first didn’t believe it worked because it ordered a bigger size for me, but now I have the correct size and I can say this is a must to help you with the back pain. I could do the shoulder straps more comfortable, but besides that it’s great

ALMOST Perfect Quality...

I was pretty convinced when I looked at the reviews, researched the company and saw the way in which this support was designed. Here are the pro's and con's: Pro's 1 - It IS comfortable (depending on the size that you get). I got 4x, and it was a good choice overall. 2 - It doesn't seem to slip too much, as long as you keep it tight enough (and especially with the shoulder straps). 3 - I like how the shoulder straps are REMOVABLE if you do not require them. So this actually comes as a two in one support. Con's 1 - The craftsmanship is slightly faulty at some points, BUT, this could merely be my own doing as I kept trying to wear my phone on an otter box UNDER the brace while I work. It tore some of the material (not horribly, but nevertheless, in under 2 days it did this). I was disappointed, but remembered that I can hand sew as well, so no real worries. Overall, GREAT product and well worth the price for what you are getting. I have gone through a few other braces and this one has held up the best in the conditions I work with. I hope it continues!

Back brace that really protects your back

I've been using this at work for years now, and it has definitely helped keep my back from getting further injured. I don't wear it all day long, I just cinch it up when I'm going to be lifting or moving something heavy. I recommend it to anyone who unloads trucks and works freight, it will help save your back!

Great Product

I bought this belt to use daily for residential construction work. Its comfortable allowing you to bend at the waist, sit down, or get down on your knees when working on the floor. I even wear it when I drive. Its very adjustable in how snug you make it because of the secondary side flaps, so you can always loosen it quickly if you need to. Sturdy in its manufacture and is in like new condition after 4 years of use. I suspect it will last for decades at this rate. [This is a WAY, WAY better quality belt than what is sold for $15 bucks at the big box home stores.] It provides as much support as you can get without wearing a weightlifting type (leather belt) instead, and those types of belts are far too uncomfortable to be worn all day because they really dig into your sides and hips. The XL was true to fit - I have a 38" waist and it looks like the belt has enough adjustability left to fit down to a 37" waist. Be sure to measure around your waist at, or maybe 1" below your bellybutton. DO NOT order these types of belts based on your underwear waistband size or the belt will be too small!!!! NOTE ON GETTING ADDED SUPPORT: A little trick I use is to wear a leather weightlifting type belt over this one for super support when I have something especially heavy to lift, like an appliance or unloading a truck full of 90lb cement bags or 3/4" plywood by hand. With the Proflex belt under it, you can wear a weightlifting belt much more comfortably, and the weightlifting belt prevents any give whatsoever which gives you that mega support to protect your back. But the majority of the time, for routine work like carrying tools, and supplies up to say 60lbs, I just wear this Proflex belt by itself.

Bought two

I love this thing. So much, that I bought a second one. Bringing it back and forth between work was too much of a hassle. Now I have one for work, and one for home. I cannot stress enough how amazing this thing is. When women say that taking off their bra is the best feeling ever. That's the exact feeling you get with this too. Besides the comfort while wearing, you can FEEL the pressure of the brace helping.... When you take it off, you feel like an amazing wet noodle.

Good quality product

This looks like a good quality product. Will update as it gets used. Husband has a 34" waist with no paunch or extra fat and the medium fits perfectly. If you are on the lower end of the size scale shown, you might consider ordering a size down for perfect fit. If you are a lot thicker through the belly or butt, you have about 4" to play with on the upper end of the size range. Has kind of a mesh around the body which should help to disperse heat. The suspenders are velcroed so you can wear the brace without them. The material used on the stiffeners to stop the brace from creeping up do stand proud to the inside. Hubby wears the brace over his clothes so he thinks it will be fine. Side pulls really add support as needed. Prompt shipping.

Best back support I’ve ever had.

This back support brace is the best I’ve tried so far. It sure helps to have the suspenders as without them I find that the brace drops down and I lose the support. Good product for the price for sure. My spine is so bad now that I wouldn’t go outside without a brace due to the pain I have now from a degenerated spine and the extra support I need due to having MD.
