Handy and effective

The dust pan is really good at collecting anything and everything swept into it. This is true whether I’m using the brush it came with or my broom. I’m pretty happy with it!

Great Product

Wonderful dustpan. Works better than any I have had, and so inexpensive. Picked up everything with one sweep. The pointed brush really helps get in odd spaces. Extremely happy with purchase.

And the best thing--made from recycled materials. That deserves six stars!

Yhe shape is good, the lip does not allow dirt to escape under it, and it's well designed. And recycled materials is a real plus these days.

Meets expectation

The size is hard to understand from Amazon. Of dustpans I’ve seen in my life, this one is almost exactly in the middle size-wise, which imo is perfect. Fwiw it probably a bit too small to use comfortably with a standard floor broom, but I have broom pans for that, dustpan is supplemental and I don’t want it to be large. Quality & design is excellent. They clearly put some thought into how the product is used. The Pan: silicone ‘lip’ at the leading edge is nice and pliable so dirt does not get underneath when sweeping on a slightly non-flat surface. Quality feels fine. Its a plastic injection molded polypropylene piece with a matte finish on the outside, glossy on the inside. It also has little nubs on the bottom of the back so it won’t grind dirt and sand into my wood floor while using it. The brush: feels great in hand, great weight to it, over-molded grip feels good and is secure. Unsure what it is made out of, I think all the proof marks are under the over-mold or among the bristles. Feels different than the pan, and the mold itself shows a bit more wear vs. the Pan’s mold. Nothing I would call a defect and overall its up there with the best in the category. The handle isn’t bulbous or round like Oxo tends to do for handles so if you have really bad arthritis it might not be ideal for you. The bristles are a little stiff because its new so it can fling dirt if you’re not careful. I think this will fix itself over time as most brooms do. I typically stick to Oxo for products like this but I don’t like their dustpan design. This Casabella branded model could easily be Oxo branded and I wouldn’t question it (other than lacking the characteristic Oxo-bulbous handle + Oxo colorway). Happy with it, best dustpan of the 5 or so I’ve owned to-date. Thank you for attending my ted talk.

Bristles are uncomfortably firm

My SO hates using this because they say the bristles are too firm. I agree that it doesn't feel as comfortable to sweep with it because the bristles don't really flex that well. Maybe it will get easier over time, but since we both avoid using it it will take a long time to see any change.

I feel happy every time I use this

I was getting s m with the other dustpan I was using, OXO brand, where i could not sweep up all the dust. The edge was too thick. This dust pan has a thin edge and after a few sweeps all the dust is in the pan. The brush shape is great and the way it tucks into the pan to put away is smart. There are times in the pan that are for cleaning the brush of hair or anything else. It’s a fabulous design for a tool that I use often. It’s always important for me to have a tool that works well; it makes the work pleasurable.

BEWARE - DIMENSIONS ON DESCRIPTION ARE WRONG!

Correct dimensions are: 9 inch wide pan (22.9cm), 12 inches long from edge of pan to end of handle (30.5 cm) x 3-3/4 inch high (when laid on floor to highest point of handle (9.7cm). The handle itself is 4-1/4 inch long (10.9cm). I wish the pan width was about 11 inches wide (28cm) so it would accommodate most other broom widths. I realize this comes with a small broom but it would be nice if it could also accommodate other brooms we may already have. Otherwise the dustpan is better/more durable than my “premium” dollar store one I had for some years.

This is a pretty normal dustpan and brush. Better than a cheap one but nothing amazing for £20... Some of the cost comes from fast shipping from the USA

Really clean and sleek looking. Has grooved edges to pull off the stuff that sticks to the brush. Very good quality product.
