Beautiful Quality Shirt but fit is not that slim!

Nautica is a great brand! I am happy with the shirt in general. The quality is perfect, nothing was misshapen, the material had no flaws, and it washes and drys beautifully with no wrinkles. I am giving it a 4-star rating only because for a slim fit advertised shirt, it is not really slim, if anything it is a straight cut down from underneath the armpit area. My high school graduate who works out religiously and has well-defined muscles needed a white-collar shirt for graduation and I chose this shirt for quality and the description and size charts makes out like it would really be slim. However, the shirt just hung on him like he was a hanger. So, he wore it under his graduation gown and nobody noticed but my son has a muscular build and he is fit and has a 6 pack for a stomach, so just know this shirt does not fit slim on any level, not even in the slightest. I love Nautica, just don't know if this shirt is mismarked for size or what, but regardless it is a great shirt, just in my case did not fit as expected.

Runs a bit large

The item is good quality and not very slim fit so it runs a big larger than expected. If you’re worried that you’re regular size is too small because the shirt is slim fit, no need to. It should fit fine so no need to size up.

UPDATE...At a price I can now afford to reorder.

UPDATE May 25, 2021 We washed it and it's looking good. Feels good and fits good too. So from 1 star to 4 star. Gonna get me another one for my son as I notice they have reduced the price to a more favorable level. Happy and satisfied customer here. Thanks Amazon May 17, 2021 I just purchased this shirt about a week ago for $25.10 My son loves it and will be wearing it to work. I wanted to get him another one, BUT, It has gone up by more than 100%!!!! This is crazy. The shirt itself is worth maybe a 4 star as we have not washed it as yet. Hopefully it will wash good. A one star for me at the moment.

Big difference from Regular Fit

The quality and color of the fabric is very good. In the case of Regular Fit, the first one I ordered was small, but it was large size which I normally wear. For this reason, I thought that the small size of the Slim Fit type I ordered this time would fit, but unlike the Regular Fit, it is a size that almost fits the body. If you have experience purchasing Regular Fit of Amazon Essentials, you should purchase Slim Fit in the size you normally wear.

Compliments the larger bodied man.

I am extremely impressed with the quality of this product. I am a large man who finds it hard to find a "slim fitting" shirt for someone my size. I'm 5'10, 280lbs, with very broad shoulders and a muscular build. The way this shirt forms to my body is very complimentary. It hugs my chest and biceps quite nicely and then flows down my torso without catching my rolls giving the perception of a true slim fitting shirt without exposing my beer gut. A day after receiving this product I came back to order more and saw the price went up $20. I would like to see the price come down just a bit, but really I can't complain because this shirt is worth it. Very nice, will be ordering again.

Dudo de que mi producto sea original

Estoy dudando de que realmente sea un producto original ya que la manga no me quedó a la altura como esta en la ilustración sino que mas corta, de lo demás me quedó bien pero por ese detalle me hace dudar y pues mejor ya no compro ropa por internet. Que mal que Amazon permita vender productos pirata y no solo lo digo por mi playera. También lo digo por los relojes, hay marcas que son reconocidas pero no se ve que sean originales por la calidad y por los precios. Están a tiempo de cambiar chicos de Amazon.
