Very Well Made!!!!

I am incredibly picky when it comes to my comforters. We have a King bed and a lot of comforters don't cover enough of the mattress. This one does! It is incredibly soft and not scratchy like many can be. It has a significant weight to it, but not so much that it makes you hot and uncomfortable. We live in Texas, and this works great for us. I absolutely love this comforter and wished it came in other colors!

Color is not as pictured

Definitely more cream/ivory color I was hoping for slightly off white and this is much more a a ivory

Ok, not great

Heavier than I thought it would be. Wind up kicking it off during the night. VERY small for a king. Barely covers the bottom edge of the mattress when the bed is made up. The positive is that the color was as expected. I washed it before putting on bed and it came out pretty wrinkled out of the dryer. If I hadn’t washed it, I would have returned it.

Super warm, thick and heavy. Looks like my Grandma's quilts though.

This comforter is very big, thick and very warm. It is more of a yellowish cream color. It doesn't look as nice to me, up close, as I thought it would. It actually looks just like the cream quilts my Grandma has had on her bed since as long as I can remember. That's not my style though and I feel like the images on here make it look smoother and softer than it is and are a bit misleading. The geometric pattern is not as nicely accentuated as it is in the pictures. It has a more subtle imprint on top. The material is rough but seems durable. Even though it's not my style, it's not bad looking. The pin tucks on it look a little awkward to me though and it doesnt just lay flat and smooth, like it looks in the pictures, because it bunches up a little above the pin tucks. This thing is thick and heavy. My 8 year old can't drag this comforter around to lay on it and test it out, like he has always done any time I get a new blanket, throw or comforter. He tried to yank it off my bed and it jerked him back from it's weight lol. I think an elderly person might struggle a little to make their bed with this, atleast the King size. The underside is not the greatest material. I prefer something soft, sleek or smooth against my skin, and this isn't it. They cut costs with the material on the underside for sure with a faux linen type material. This is not reversible, in case that's what you're looking for. The top of it, I have noticed, seems to attract little bits of lint from my clothing that pill on the surface. It does look nice in a rustic way though and with a red plaid throw over it will be great at Christmas when I want to feel like I'm in a winter cabin. It is incredibly warm and will trap heat in with you through the night. Our temperatures can drop fairly drastically around 4 am here, however at night it's still warm and we like it cold to sleep, so we set the thermostat to 68 at bedtime. Last night I felt warm from just having this on my bed, even though it was pushed off to the side. So, I set the air to 66 and intended to switch it back to it's normal program before I fell asleep, so it would begin heating the house around 4 am. I fell asleep uncovered though and woke up freezing around 5 am. I felt too sleepy, lazy and cold to get up and turn the heater on, and tugged this back over me and instantly I was warm and toasty. This comforter easily gets 5 stars for warmth, but loses a star because of the other minor issues I have with it.

I love the soft textured side

I love the soft textured side of this comforter. It's subtle and soft and timeless in the pattern. It feels really nice. The inside of the comforter is smooth, and it could be used with that side on top. But once you see and feel the pattern, you'll want that on top. We have a split king bed - 2 twin XL mattresses. This fits it fine. It goes about 8-10 inches over on the sides and about 18-20'' over at the foot - but that's with not pulling the comforter up all the way to the top, over pillows. I do wish it were a little wider, BUT 8-10'' over the edge really is probably a bit wider than the norm. It's heavish, just over 10lb. It's not like one of the cheap bed in a bags that's just full of light fluff. This has some weight to it. I like a little more weight than this though, so I have a weighted blanket under the comforter (sandwiched between the flat sheet and comforter). I know, that means I have around 15lb of weight on me. It's wonderful personally. My husband likes to sleep with just the comforter though. He likes the weighted blanket, but finds it not warm enough now that winter is almost here. He wants a warm blanket with a little weight. He's been hanging on to a $200 comforter we got for our wedding, 14 years ago, because it has weight to it and he loves it. But after 14 years, it's so dingy (and a queen size) so I don't like using it. He agrees that this new one, which fits our king bed properly, is nice. It's got just enough weight for him. I haven't needed to wash it yet, but I think it'll wash fine when needs it. It is machine washable. I like that it has both cotton (for warmth and softeness) and polyester (to help keep its shape). And I love the look of it - its classic and easy to dress up if I want, with some colored pillows. It's really a great comforter.

very soft and comfortable

I love the look of this bedding set and wanting something neutral but also not plain. I will say my only complaint, or negative thing to say is the color of this is more cream in person than in the picture. Its not a huge deal because i don't need it to match anything in my bedroom, but I would have preferred a more subtle cream or off white bedding. The comfortable itself is heavy due to it being thick and plush like. I previously had coverlets and this has obviously been an upgrade. I love the feeling of the plush comfortable and how cozy it is once we're tucked in for bed. I have found that the extra plush and heaviness has kept me warmer at night. Overall, I love the look of this comforter, it really transformed the look of our bed once its all made up, it looks more grown up. The subtle texture and details on the comfortable are just enough to add that extra something without being too plain or boring. I will need to get some King Size pillows because the pillow shams are too big for my current pillows.

Nice material but arrived dirty .

Love the design and feel of this comforter . But very disappointed that it was not properly packed and arrived dirty.
