Our Cat Loves Her Crinkle Bed, We Had To Buy Another!

Our little Bombay kitty loves this crinkle bed and spends most of her afternoons curled up on it. We had to get a second one because we found ourselves carrying her from room to room while she slept on the pad.

Cute and cuddly

My cats are not fans of crinkly things, so I could do without that part. The sherpa-like covering is nice and they like the texture. It fits perfectly in the Ikea cat cube, which is great. In the summer I turn it over so they can enjoy the cooler canvas-like surface. Very happy with this all in all. Very durable.

Perfect for my cat!

I adopted a half Maine coon who is OBSESSED with anything that makes a crinkle sound. The moment I saw this, I knew it was something she would love. This is her new favorite toy and she also uses it to take a nap. Bed and toy? It's like a two for one deal! :) It's also easy to clean by hand or in the washer. The design is perfect and I can see it lasting for many many years to come!

It’s not machine washable.

This used to be my cats favorite bed. Then she threw up on this so I cleaned it and then threw it in the wash. Now it doesn’t crinkle as much and is matted and she doesn’t really care for it unless it’s in her favorite spot.

Much flatter than I anticipated, and small. But for the price it is a fairly good product. Haven't seen my cats lay on it yet. ????

My cats adore this!!

My cats absolutely adored this! I am definitely ordering a new one soon. It does pick up everything on the fleece side, but fleece just does that. I used it to try and lure my cat home but a raccoon tore it to pieces so….I don’t think raccoons like it. But my cats very very much like it!

True. A little small and pricey, but what the heck! My cat who is very particular about EVERYTHING lurbs it! I hadn't gotten it out of the package when he grab it, started to knead it, and lay on it. and he's still on it now, purring as loud as a cicada in love! I recommended it, especially for grouchy cats!

This item has the potential to be dangerous!

I currently have three cats. Over the past 30 years I have always had at least one, so I am quite experienced with their care. PLEASE HEED THIS WARNING: Upon taking the blanket out and presenting it to my cats my eldest (15) immediately laid down on it, started purring, and got excited about the noise it makes. This made him "attack" it a little, playfully biting on the faux fur and pulling upward. Immediately a single thread came loose from the material, which he pulled at a little further. Within seconds, he had approximately a foot of this single thread pulled out and still in his mouth. I moved him away and cut the thread away from the blanket with a pair of scissors, and then inspected things a little further. I found it quite easy to pull more threads out with my fingers simply pinched together. It is a little surprising because it doesn't look like material that is made of single threads that could be pulled out. But it is. Here's the warning: if a cat swallowed a thread like this, it could very easily get tangled in its intestines which at the very least creates a situation that involves expensive and traumatic (for both cat and owner) emergency surgery. If not noticed in a timely manner, it could be the end for your loved pet. Now, the label of the blanket states that "Pets should be supervised when using this product. Immediately remove if any part becomes loose or detached." This is a generic warning found on nearly all pet toys, but it is very appropriate for this particular crinkle blanket. Realistically, pet owners should not expect (or want) to be sitting there watching their cat like a hawk with this thing, particularly as it is not really a toy but a crinkle blanket that they should be able to enjoy and lie on it for long periods of time. What I decided to do is securely place it under the padding on one of the cat tree perches I own. It still makes the crinkle noise, and is safely hidden away underneath padding of the type that this blanket should have been made of to begin with. Anyway, I suggest looking for one that is made out of safer material. To the manufacturer: change the material! Use something that is not made of material that pulls out in long threads.

My cat loves this

It’s small but my cat doesn’t seem to mind. (It’s the one she’s laying on in the picture). She is always sitting on this wether she’s resting or playing. It’s extremely soft and the crinkle is perfect! It’s Lily approved and she’s hard to please.

My 6 year old male cat hates it.

The thing was cheap, but my CAT hates it, doesn't like the krinkle sound, was a waste of money. He doesn't use it.
