Exactly What I needed

I upgraded an 1987 Trek Elance with modern components. I installed a Ritchey Carbon Fork with a 1’ steer tube. However, I only had 1 1/8 stems. This shim resolved the issue and I was able to complete my build.

Does the trick!

If you need to put modern 1 1/8 inch stem on an older 1" steering tube, this will do the trick. It worked well and solved the problem.

Add new bars to an old bike.

Used this to put a new integrated stem and bar on my Colnago retro project. Bike came in at 19lbs with pedals. Not to shabby for a bike made around 2006.

I don't know what to do with this

Don't waste your money. I've paid $15 for this. I've never seen a product that is finished better inside than outside. Near mirror polish finish inside but, outside looks like it was done by a kid on his first day of job. Stepped down machining marks, uneven diameter roughedges, as you can see in the pics it is pretty horrible for $15 dollars. I wasn't expecting cane creek quality but I wasn't expecting this type of quality for the money either. Its probably going back.
