Great outdoor glider

First off, I purchased this glider used, in original packaging (pretty banged up) & for less than half price. Although the outside packaging was rough, it was well protected & there was no damage or missing parts. Assembly was very easy. Instructions are brief but thorough. I did receive 2 Same base pieces instead of opposing. However, I do not know whether it is in the design or an error. Either way, it does not interfere with the integrity of the glider & not noticeable except during assembly. I assembled it by myself in less than an hour (for reference purposes, I am a 63 yr old grandmother). The glider itself is very sturdy, wider than most & has a basic design than will fit most tastes. It is comfortable with nice back support. Cushions could be added easily but are not needed. I am ver happy with this purchase.

Strong and secure, but assembly and function could be better

This probably took me around 30 minutes to assemble on my own. It wasn't super difficult, but it was awkward at times. The directions are just photos but if you've assembled enough things then it's enough to go off of. Think when you do it... the moving pieces maybe you wouldn't want to tighten as tight as possible. Unfortunately, I lost a washer (if that black plastic circle is called that) while doing so as it fell in the grass not to be seen. I found a replacement with spares I got from assembling something else as Amazon Basic products, such as this, never seem to have a courtesy spare. Upon setting it up I tried it. It moves forward and backwards as a glider should I suppose. It's a different motion than a swing and you may or may not care for it. You'll want to leave some room behind it and not have the legs as far back as they can be positioned because it'll need some room, but not a lot, to move. The quality seems good. The metal is nice, the woven patio fabric that's like a plastic sort of is good and is close to what I have on a swing and seems to hold up well. Overall, I'm happy with it, but I still prefer my swing.

Chairs are great once assembled - PROPERLY!

I do sit by myself with instructions in hand and carefully follow along when putting something together. I did that with these and I'm glad I did, but it still took a decent amount of time and frustration to put them together. Now, done right, the end result is worthwhile. The chairs are comfortable and glide well and easily. I'm liking the design a lot - the kind of squished, rounded arm sections and the breathable back/seat areas although I have added a tie on seat and back cushion just to add comfort for my behind when I'm sitting in them. Nice chairs, but just a bit fiddly installation process. Not awful, just a tad frustrating at times.

Missing fasteners

Chairs are sturdy and comfy. A bit challenging to put together. Take your time and really follow the directions. Would have been easier if all the fastening hardware was included. Had to run to HD for nuts and they didn't have the metric size needed. Bought new stainless bolts and lock nuts in 1/4 20 size. They work but now need to be touched up with black paint. What should have been an hour project turned into an all day. Also delivered to the wrong address by USPS.

Patience

These chairs were a gift, but we put them together and gave them early before the weather got bad. Let me tell you, the instructions are the worst. Took my husband and I nearly 2 hours to put two chairs together. The bolts wouldn’t fit into the pre drilled holes correctly. It was a mess. Once we were able to get them together they do look nice and feel comfortable, but I’m not sure how long they’ll hold up.

Some screws don't fit

I love these chairs. Some of the screws didn't fit, but other than replacing those, I like them.

Just what I was looking for

We have a good sized apt balcony, that we sit out on just about daily. I wanted something that looked nice, was comfortable and not pocket draining(like come on these literally sit outside). They took about an hour to assemble with my man. The hardware nuts and bolts came scattered in the packing so we had to sort them ourselves which luckily wasn't too hard but more so annoying. The end product is nice, they are sturdy. My man is big and solid and i was afraid he would be too big for them but they've held. They don't really rock or swing too far as much as I'd like and they do have a squeaky sound when they swing. All in all i couldn't beat the price and would recommend

terrible chair

I ordered this glider chair. It is the worst chair ever! Put it together and its Squeaks so bad!!!! We tried tigtning the blots still squeaks...tried loosening bolts...still squeaks...tried WD40...still squeaks. Cant move in it!!! What the point of having a glider???? Terrible chair

Ne balance pas bien

Tu as besoin des instructions. 2 côté droit oí gauche pour côté différent. Mais le tout ne balance quasiment pas. Si on ne force pas un peu pour se balancer on reste sur place.
