Amazing
I'm not suggesting that you should use this to run a SATA drive off of a 300 watt power supply from 2004. I'm just saying that I did, and it works very well.

works and is quality
I love this. it's crimped so no shorts or crossovers and even though it's ketchup and mustard which only indicates that it was cheap not bad quality i believe these should last for years to come and highly recommend them they are just like my grandfathers old set that have finally become worse for ware after 3-4 systems over the last decade.

I wanted to love these, but...
I bought 4 of these and they broke the little L-shaped plastic "key" off of every drive I plugged them into. Unfortunately, that was 16 drives before having a need to remove anything from the machine in question. They broke the key off of WD drives, they broke the key off of Hitachi drives (both pre- and post-WD takeover), and they broke the key off of Samsung SSDs. They even broke the key off of an adapter board that converts a m.2 slot into a PCIe slot. I am unable to see anything obviously wrong with any of the connectors--all dimensions look fine externally and I can see no visible difference between the connectors used here and the connectors used on several other adapters and random power supplies I have around. But, yeah, all my drives have broken tabs now. It doesn't affect the operation of the drives in any way but I doubt I will be able to RMA any of them successfully if a failure occurs during the warranty period now.

No ugly colored cables!
Good price and quality! I have a case with glass sides and didn't want unsightly colored cables. Would definitely suggest buying these cables!

it's a long cable for what it is
Overall seems like a good cable. The wire gauge is about the same as you will find on just any PSU out there and the connectors seems to be made well enough or least better then some other cheaper adapters I have seen. About my only con is there is a lot of wire between each connector for connecting multiple hard drives together that are pretty much sandwiched together.

Works well, crimped not molded
Have been using an older monoprice molex to sata for years and it's perfect. This one is no different. Avoid buying molded molex to sata and spend the extra few dollars to get a crimped adapter like this one.

should be for emergency only and not for a everyday use seniario as the quality is questionable
Can't say if it's good or not I haven't used it yet but judging by the first one I got was broken it doesn't look great. Quality is low as are expectations plastic seems really cheap and wires look like ketchup and mustard

Crimped. Reliable.
People say "Molex to SATA, lose your data" but this adapter uses crimped connections instead of molded ones, so there is less risk of a short unlike cheap adapters with molded connectors.

Braided cables far superior to molded garbage
If you're running a file server and find you need more sata power adapters, these are what you want. Braided cables like this are far superior to the molded cheap stuff you see. These will help prevent a fire as the cabling is very high quality.

Worth the few dollars to have on hand when the need arises
If you work with computers, either as a hobbyist or as a tech, this is one of those little items that you will eventually need and then can't do without. The quality is good, the connectors fit well on both the SATA and power connector ends. Wires are the same gauge and quality as those found on most power PSU's. I like the fact that you can get this item here as not many computer bricks and mortar stores carry these kinds of accessories. Other than that what can be said, it works as intended and can be a life saver to have in your drawer of spare parts when the need arises.

Something made properly for once
So many of these power supply adapter cables are made as cheaply and terribly as possible. Thankfully, that isn't the case with this one. Everything uses the proper gauge wire and high-quality plugs. Most importantly, on the Molex end all the pins are in there securely and don't fall out. This is exactly what I needed.

Horrible product - wrongly wired
Might have actually shorted out my powersupply because the wiring was wrong for the PSU plug side, and who knows about the SATA side. What a POS! Can't even get a refund now either because it took so long to figure out why it was not working/screwing up my system. Who thinks a company can't make a wire correctly? Wow.

Producto bueno
