Kinda works.
I bought this hoping it would keep my ghost shrimp on the hook for a cast. It doesn’t. I think they need to be bigger for my saltwater use. These might be good on a tiny trout hook or something. Im sure there is a place for it. I’ll keep using it until it’s gone but don’t think I’ll order it again.

Love it, but...
Love how this device works. Only complain i have that prevents it from getting the 5 stars is how the device is put together. I understand it's a cheap plastic, but if the bait buttons are falling out due to the edges not sealed, then maybe it needs a redesign. Over all, it's attended purpose works for me.

Love this tool
What a great tool. I thought the little round rubber things, they look like washer without a hole, had a hole in them but all you do is press them against the hook and the hook goes right through them. Perfect for holding a bit of shrimp or a chunk of eggs on my hook on my jigs or hooks for salmon and steelhead. LOVE EM, LOVE EM, LOVE EM. This is the best fishing invention since the pole.

These things are amazing! I have never had bait fly off. If I ever lose bait it's because something came by and ate the bait. These are a must have!

On my third container of these...
Great for holding bait onto hooks, particularly when using barbless hooks like when doing catch and release fishing or where barbless hooks are mandatory. I like the smaller size bait buttons that come in the green container, as that works well for hooks up to about 1/0 size. This is my third container of bait buttons, so I obviously like them and use them.
