Versatile magnetic drive pump

This is actually my 2nd purchase of this pump. i'm usung this pump to supply distilled water to my LG refrigerator ice maker for ice and cold water. The stainless pump chamber keeps contaminants out of the potable water supply. Pump is quiet and provides adequate flow to the fridge. I have also used this pump in my LG combination washer/drier to replace the original drain pump. It is quieter (less vibration) than the original. Photo shows the amount of defective washer pumps that were replaced. Hoping that because this is a beer/mash high temperature pump, the steam and super hot water washer mode won't harm this pump. (The OEM washer pump plastic impeller , keeps melting off the shaft and/or the motor seal fails allowing water into the motor. Looking to purchase another pump for cleaning off scaling inside an Instant hot water heater, as long as the price is low. AL

head leaks

put this pump on a test run and just using water the pump started leaking. The pump wasnt even on and water started coming out where the plastic ring sits between the mortor and manifold. What a piece of crap.

As described, great price for the pump

These pumps have given me lots of hours of service, in my home brew setup. 8 have used these pumps for a couple months so far. I used them to circulate water in my hot liquor tank and for whirlpool in my boil kettle. The housing is stainless but the impeller is plastic. Not that this has been an issue just a clarification. It lifts the water and provides plenty of pressure in my home setup. These are not self priming but require head pressure prior to turning the pump on. No matter, they work great. Would purchase again for the price point.

Very quiet and fast

Bought this for home brewing. This is my first pump so I did not want to spend to much. I assumed this was going to be loud but it was actually so quiet I wasn’t sure if it was running. Tested it with water today and it worked awesome. I will be using it to brew my next batch very soon.

Great for cold brew coffee.

I bought this pump to use with my 15 gallon cold brew coffee maker. So far it was a great purchase. I use it to recirculate the cold brew for 24 hours before I use it to drain the brewer in to kegs. Makes the product taste better and make the brewing process faster and more efficient.

Failed to operate correctly

Would not maintain flow. Priming repeatedly was the only way to keep it pumping. Pumping less than a foot and with no head took more than 10 minutes to move 2 gallons of liquid due to repeated priming.

Great little pump

I use it to transfer beer and wine from carboy to carboy. I have a bad back and find it difficult to lift full carboys.

Does the job well (SHJ)

We used this pump as a recirculating pump to clean a tankless hot water heater (circulating vinegar through it to descale). Used in a commercial setting so definitely working hard. It works perfectly for this, was easy to install and was a good price. Happy with this purchase. SHJ

Great little pump for home brewing

I bought 2 pumps to build my little home brewery. I have done 3 batches of beer to date. Both pump operated formidably under all brewing conditions. I do recommend this product. UPDATED May 22, 2021with a photo and they are still running strong. RR

Buyers Beware!

Waste of money! Avoid this brand! Very poor product died the first time I used it pumped a weak stream of water and died after less than an hour never to work again. Thought I was getting a quality product but am extremely disappointed, no return policy just a scam company. Buyers BEWARE!
