Purchased to power 2 different Betta tanks sponge filters. Like the dual output, and it puts out plenty of air for them both. I actually had to turn the air flow knob down to half way! Very quiet! I have liked all my purchases from this company, ie canister filters, etc. So far so good. I purchased a second to supplement my larger 4 outlet air pump in my 40 gal breeder tank with 3 adult XL Ryukin Goldfish, to add a few more air stones. There is no difference in output quality of bubbles. Just ordered a third today to power a lg sponge filter for breeding... Definitely a great price! I will report back if I have any issues with them. :-)

Update May 2018: the noisier pump stopped pumping air so efficiently. The seal on the rubber bladders leaks air. Original post: I've bought two so far for four tanks. One is quiet and the second is noisy. Very strong airflow so dividing among the tanks was no issue. The knob on the side isn't very effective at adjusting the air flow on both pumps.

It came on time and was as described.I have it in a twenty gallon tank with two small air stones and it works very well. I don't think it would be strong enough to be as effective in a 40 gallon tank but for my needs it was a great buy.I would recommend it to anyone who wants to use two air stones in a tank under 30 gallons.

No longevity but otherwise very good and actually silent.

MUCH quieter than the other brand of air pump I usually use. No complaints. I have it in my 55 and it works exactly as it should. *01/11/17...Still works great. No problems since purchasing July 2015. *Just purchased a second, for another tank, and it's super quiet, as well. *05/14/2017 I see I made a mistake. The 2nd outlet on the first one I purchased just died. I was going to give it a two, but at least it's still dead silent after almost a full 2 years and super cheap.

So quiet!

This air pump is so quiet compared to the other brands sold at Pet Smart Walmart etc... I am actually buying another one this week to replace an aqueon brand dual pump because I can't stand how loud it is in comparison to this one. This pump is paired with an air/light strip as well as a separate air stone and both get a great flow of bubbles when on high and the adjustable dial allows me to lessen the air flow to my fishes needs. Great pump will be buying more I'm sure.

Not impressed

I was disappointed in this air pump. It's not very strong & the adjustment knob is useless. I only have it hooked up to 2 air stones in a couple of box filters & the air flow is worse then the old ones they replaced. I've used many makes & models of air pumps over the years but this is one I would not buy again,

Bang for the Buck !

So far so good. Good output, and thats on two 5" inch bubble stones. Nice being able to adjust the flow. And it's pretty dang quiet, comparable to the Whisper 20 I was using. (single output) Came with a pair of check valves which was nice !! Only drawback would be the length of the cord, it's a bit short, but not a deal breaker.
