Peace of mind????
Fits exactly as described, both keys work and I did not have to use washers as I had read in other similar product reviews. It’s nice to now have peace of mind.

Easy you use
This product gives me piece of mind knowing that my trailer hitch can’t be stolen so easily.

How To Un-Stick This Lock!
Most of you will already be aware of (and probably already tried) this "trick", but it's about all you can do if this lock has frozen itself to your trailer or hitch. Just squirt some WD-40 liberally into the keyhole and wait 20 minutes. If possible, rotate the lock so that the keyhole is up so the lubricant doesn't just drip out while you're waiting. The hard part will probably be inserting the key all the way so that it will turn. Work it firmly back and forth until the key is fully seated, and then cross your fingers and turn. From my experience with a number of these locks, if you can push the key all the way in, it WILL turn. If you've successfully gotten this far, then hopefully the internal locking latch is not frozen and will release. If not, try tapping the lock with a hammer or screwdriver handle. If that doesn't work, repeat and let sit overnight before trying again. I prefer WD-40 for it's water-displacing properties, although 3-in1 or machine oil will also work. And if that doesn't work, it's unfortunately time for a cutting torch. Now for my review. I used to tow and use boats at work almost on a weekly basis, and have also used these locks for my personal vehicle and watercraft. The most important thing I can tell you is that these are good locks, but they are NOT weatherproof locks. If the lock is going to be somewhat sheltered under a bumper securing a receiver hitch, then it will be all right for at least a few years. I had one on my work truck for more than 5 years, but it BARELY came off when I finally needed to swap out the ball mount. I now use plain, regular receiver pins on my receiver and trailer and swap them with these lockable pins when heading to the public ramp. I don't boat as much as I used to, and if I did that would be a routine inconvenience. If you boat regularly or are using these in an unsecured location, then I would suggest giving the lock a squirt of WD-40 every few months and just plan on replacing it every few years. I continue to stick with these because I'm not aware of a better product, and because I've generally had very good luck with Master locks. Their padlock-style shrouded trailer locks last a decade. I wish this receiver lock was that good.

This was well worth the money.

Great hitch lock!
Smooth operation every time. Even though there’s a cap over the keyhole to keep the elements away, I’d lube the lock often. Especially during the winter months when they salt our roads. If you want it to last, store it away from elements when not in use.

Works As Designed
I gave this product four stars only because of the lack of over all sturdiness. I bought it to fit a 2 inch hitch for a bike rack. The pin fits and locks so it works as designed. The rack I bought came with a pin and part that took care of the slight 'wobble' of the rack when inserted into the hitch hole. I changed it up b/c I wanted a pin to lock (instead of needing a socket wrench to take the other pin out). So far, the pin locks the bike rack (as a whole) to the hitch (comes with two keys). I did not need both pins though so that was simply a choice on my part (not like my hitch is going to change size suddenly that I will need a smaller pin...and only one lock for both pins, so...). On the other hand, it is illegal to drive around with a bike rack all the time (blocks vision of the license plate in general), however this accessory seems to be tolerated when it's obvious bikes are in tow.

Work great.
Not much to say really, they work as intended and the trailer is safer when attached to the hitch. Now you can't just pull the pin and remove the hitch completley.

A must have !
Simple to use, feel very strong, no problem here. Based on some other reviews I would NOT recommend to leave this lock installed on the hitch outside all the time. I will keep mine inside the truck in a bag and use it only when needed. Once the towing duty is done I always remove the receiver anyway, so the lock will follow and stay away from the weather and hopefully will last longer.
