Happy to find these

I was happy to find these I looked around at different kits trying to find which would be the best for my kids. They said they wanted these for Christmas. I'm happy with my purchase it comes with many different color beads and I think they will be excited with the different options they have to make different things.

I bought these as a fun activity for me and my kids. I am naturally patient and OCD about sorting so I did not mind that the colors are mixed, though they are grouped in 3 bags. It had a star, heart shaped, and square pegboards and ironing paper. It did not include design patterns. I did not mind. There are plenty of simple designs online, including the perler website. What I missed in the product photos is that the pegboards are NOT CLEAR! I also bought the Justice League bucket and this did have small patterns of superhero faces and logos but again, pegboards are not clear. For freestyling that's ok I guess. If you want to match to a pattern, you're gonna have to count the pegs so they correspond to the design. A clear pegboard allows you to put it on top of a pattern and match bead colors. My kids, 5 and 11 had this out for a few days after Christmas just filling in the pegboards with random colors. I transferred the beads in 3 separate zip bags to be sorted later and they were good about using 1 bag at a time. They did not feel like ironing their creations so they just dumped the beads back in the bag when they were done. It's a great fine motor and sensory activity. I have since spent a few hours getting the colors sorted so I want to get patterns online for them to follow. But first, I have to buy clear pegboards. I noticed that the star wars boxed, presorted set has clear pegboards. This might be my next purchase since I do like starwars and it comes with 2 clear pegboards. So look at the product photos carefully to make sure it will contain what you will need to get started. Otherwise you might be better off buying beads and pegboards separately. Finally, read the product description on this particular set. It states the names of the colors included. There are 25. I counted the individual snack sized baggies where I poured my sorted beads, there were indeed 25.

Fun!

I gave 4 stars because there’s a lot of important colors that aren’t included like white. We still had fun with it! Next time I’d buy one with more colors and separated by color.

Beads for Fun

The Perler Fun Fusion Fuse Bead Bucket was asked for by my 7 year old to make gifts for his parents. They take time to make but are great gifts that the youngsters enjoy making.

A lot of colors and the boards are nice for the kids to create their designs on
