Expensive

I bought this because teacher suggested it. I’m not sure that I would buy another one any time soon. The main draw was that it takes the paint smoothly but a lot of money for what you get which looks to be Masonite with a thin coating of gesso. I’ll probably use cheap pre-stretched canvas for awhile until I get better and can appreciate and justify the purchase of this product.

Gessobord 11x14

Arrived in a regular Amazon box so the corners are protected. Here are some photos showing the thickness. Also a close-up showing the "tooth". The product seems ok so far. I paid $13.48 in July 2022. I will update this when I actually use it.

Excellent Boards, bad handling.

The boards themselves are of excellent quality. I paint with oils and these are coated with titanium white, which is the whitest neutral white you can get. Unfortunately, I sell my art, and the panel I received is damaged, as you can see in the pictures.

Okay quality

Gesso goes all the way to the edge and edges are straight, no rounding or beveling. Arrived wet through the plastic with water stains on the gesso side and overall warped with the sharp corners bent. Quality is fine for what it is, but I won't be going with this brand again when better quality for about the same price is available.
