For small snap rings!
Knipex make great pliers! Their small snap ring pliers work perfect for the smallest of snap rings. The tips are really small, but very durable!

These will go into one hole, so they will work on those little tiny crirclips nothing else will.

Good for small RC Brushless Motors
Works good for brushless RC motors. Small helicopter motors and drone motors. Only set I found online that give me the dexterity for small projects and strength for big projects. I used this for small 2208 drone motors and big 550-class RC helicopter motors.

Knipex are quite possibly the best quality snap ring pliers on the market!

Bent tip within minutes
I ordered the Knipex pliers because I was fearful that the $9 Craftsman pliers I was using were going to bend or break and I couldn't risk the downtime of having to order a new pair. I have removed over 600 E clips with the Craftsman without a problem. Today I used the Knipex pliers for the first time and after removing the 6th E clip the tip was already bent (see the photo) inward, making it slip off the clip when applying pressure. So disappointing. I thought the German manufacturing (and I'm German!) was going to produce a stronger product than the cheap Chinese Craftsman pliers - wrong.

Broke on first use, twice
I heard a lot of good things about Knipex so I had some high hopes for these. The tips bent over the first time I used them to remove a retaining ring from a chainsaw. I tried a second pair which also failed. The next tip size up would not fit in the ring holes, so I don't believe the ring should have been too heavy for these. I ended up using my father's old pair of similarly sized Snap-on ring pliers which worked fine for the same ring. I later bought an OTC set which has performed reliably since.

Nicely made tools
I needed these for some very small rings on the shaft of a Unimat SL1000 power feed attachment. None of my other ring pliers would fit. This is a really nice brand. More expensive but better than the typical Asian-made tools. I would buy more of these as they feel like they will last.

Quality
Only use these occasionally so I bought cheap ones. For small circlip. They didnt fit. So bought some slightly better ones. Again didnt fit. So decided to get these I already new the name is good. These you can get in different size so got them and they fit perfectly and they hold on to the clip. You definitely get what you pay for.
