Fix an old Igloo don’t trash it

One of our igloo coolers had a broken handle. We bought this and just fixed it for less than the cost of a new cooler. Always better to fix items than trash them and create more waste. This was a 5 minute fix and we are back to a working cooler.

Factory replacement, not excited that new handles almost cost what the cooler was worth, paid $24.99 for it back in 2015.

Doesn’t feel like a igloo original

The strdiness between the old handle and this new handle doesn’t feel durable as the old handle that was original on the igloo cooler

Handles Help last another 20 years.

Easy to install and replace old handles from Igloo from over 20 years ago. So glad we could repurpose our cooler.

Handles don’t stay on

The handle is good, but the screws sent are the exact same size as the originals making it impossible for them to firmly grip the side of the cooler. There should be larger screws sent or a proper adhesive sent. I used some jb weld on the holes and back of the new handles and it appears to be holding but unsure if it will hold once the cooler is loaded.

Perfect repair!

We were going to throw the cooler out. Glad we found these handles. Made the cooler like new. These have two screws per handle. Four screw model also available. Make sure you order the right ones.
