Prodigy to 2006 GMC Sierra match up

OEM match from 2006 GM Sierra fuse block receptacle under dash to my Prodigy brake controller. I would have liked the cord to have been longer to route around things but, was enough to keep controller by right knee. Wiring correct for my model year. No issues.

Works on my GMC Sierra

This works to easily adapt the curt brake controller I bought to my 2006 GMC Sierra 2500. There's very little additional information needed to do the install. It plugs right into the box to the left of the pedals, and adapts to a standard brake controller. I'm used to having to splice all sorts of wires to fit adapters, so this was really nice to just plug and play.

TIPS ON CONNECTING TO 04 CHEVY SILVERADO

In my case i had to switch the power (black) middle wire to the opposite side since i wasn't getting power to the brake control module. I thought I had a broken brake control module. This Might save some time if you are running into issues like mine. Other than that the pigtail works great.

Trailer brake controller

This a great product. Super easy to hook up on 2006 Gmc sierra and you don't have to be a Auto Tech which I am. Used this the first time towing a 18 ft enclosed trailer ,very easy to set up and didn't even notice the trailer was behind me when braking. If you tow different trailers it has some very nice options as well as the option to set up loaded or unloaded. Looks like a very well built product. Very happy with my purchase.

Fits like it should and works Would have liked it to be a bit longer to make it run under dash like i wanted thats the o ly reason for 4 stars But very nice build quality and very nice mesh protection on the wires Plug and play for my 2004 suburban 2500

Worth it for a clean install and professional results

This wiring harness is awesome for plug and play in my 05 Chevrolet Silverado 2500hd. All is it took is locating the empty male socket specifically designed for this female end plug and insert. Paired this with Tekonsha 90160 Primus IQ Electronic Brake Control for a flawless 7 minute install. Was quoted $350 in Calgary for this setup installed that costed less then half here and looks clean with no wire splicing. Just need a couple zip ties to keep wire out of way. Would purchase again.
