Works just needs some weights
I am using several of these for my Aquaponics garden 300 Gallon fish tank. I just have them laying over the side of the tank on the bottom about 4 feet deep. The amount of air seems to be just what I needed for my size tank any the 45 Lph air pump. Only drawback is they do in fact float on the one side. This isn't really a problem for a tank like mine but I can see it being a problem for a home aquarium unless you weigh it down. I noticed there is a spot on the back about the size of a dime that you could actually put in a couple of fishing weights in and then seal it with silicone over the top. That should keep it down and I might do that if it later causes a problem.

Exactly what I need
No problems, arrived slightly ahead of schedule. Works just like they're supposed to. I'll be making gallons of compost tea with them.

Didn't work
It looked like a good idea, but it didn't work. Bubbles came out of just one small area approximately one eigth of the surface and I don't think it was just too low of pressure because when I covered that area, nothing came out anywhere, possibly defective but it must require a lot of pressure, not an ordinary aquarium pump that's not adjustable. I didnt notice that anywhere until I read it on the package about the pressure it required..

"Ain't Bad!"
First off, Let me just say that I purchased 4 of these to go into a hydroponic gardening (deep water culture) container that I made. I have them hooked up to a 6-Watt 15-LPM Air pump with 4 outlets. They put out a good amount of bubbles, but I was hoping for more. I personally believe that these would work great with a larger air pump and looking back on it, I wish I had purchased a more powerful one. Regardless, my plants are growing well and I have no complaints. If you are going to be using these for a hydroponic system like myself, these would work great, but if you have the extra money go for a bigger air pump to go with them. I also happen to have an aquarium and I actually tested one out in there first, and it looked great. It adds a nice effect to the tank and it definitely draws attention. *These air stones FLOAT AROUND. Not up at the surface, but at times they will be lifted on one side and easily move around. You will need to bury them in a substrate or weight them down if you wish to keep them in place. Remember, if you bury them in your aquarium substrate the bubble effect will look slightly different. Once buried, bubbles tend to group together to form larger bubbles, as opposed to multiple small bubbles. For hydroponics, some fishing line and a some sinkers will have them kept in place.* Final Verdict: If you are buying these for a hydroponics system then go for it. They will work good and if your pump can put enough air through them, they will work great. If you are buying these for an aquarium then look no further, these are for you.

Amazing little helper!
I have a 75 gallons tank and wanted to give it better oxygenation, so I started looking for an aerator. I had to think a lot before deciding which size to get, and in the end I bought the 3" one. As others said, it produces an enormous amount of bubbles for its size, and it's perfect for my vertical aquarium, so considering its power, you might as well consider that the size is utterly important, depending on the size of your tank; I believe the 3" will work great for 100-gallons-and-less aquariums. The only disadvantage is that it needs some weight to stay down, I had to tie it to the bottom. Besides that, it's perfect, and having it for a week with 6 ten-inches goldfishes who usually make a mess everywhere, it was pretty much clean.

Good for the price, but buy more then you need
These are pretty good for the price that you pay for them. I bought 3 of these, after soaking them for 8 hours before use, 2 out of the 3 were not producing bubble as they should, so I messaged the seller(OneStopFishShop) about my issue, and they responded quickly. I would buy from the mentioned seller again, if only all issues with any purchases went this smooth! I took a star away due to the issues I had with these, but I think with any of the cheap air stones it's either hit or miss.

Do not buy.
We purchased 4 of these. Unfortunately, I would not recommend. This device does not sink or stay in gravel. It took less than 12 hours for the air stone to float to the top after I burried it in the gravel such a waste of $!

Works Like It Should
I put this in my aquarium with the intent of placing a 110mm crystal globe on it. Took a 1/2'' drill bit and made a little divit in the center to hold the globe and it worked out great. Like all stone bublers it started off with just a couple jest of large bubles but after several months the bubles are smaller and starting to spread around the globe making a very cool visuial effect. It does take some time for these type of bublers to produce micro bubbles so dont be discuraged when it doesnt for the first month or two.

states clearly on desription that its a full bubble disc however when i connected the thing up i only got bubbles coming outa 5 holes at the edge of one side, its supposed to be a full buble disc, and i also checked the pipe to see if it was blocked and it wasnt so the problem is the actual buble disc.

This is a piece of garbage. I can't get it to stay on the bottom of the tank. I'm using a fairly decent sized pump and it puts out next to nothing for bubbles.
