Surprised!

I bought this just to see if it would really work… I get so tired of taking off the lid of what I’m cooking to add or stir while cooking and my counter is all wet and what not-irritating. This little item works just great! Very pleasantly surprised to say the least!! Works on all sized lids!! My lids are all the glass type— but this is a must have in every kitchen! I’m going to get another for the other side of the stove…

Great item

I’ve had this for a little while I was holding off on writing a review until I used it for a while. So far, it has held up well in the dishwasher and works as advertised. The only thing it does not work well with is small lids.

Very functional, but paint peels and rust follows

I wanted to give this item a better review, because I really like its simple, functional design. The problem is that the paint started to chip and peel off after a few months of regular use and careful washing by hand. It was still usable, but obviously didn't look as good and now I need to replace it. Still debating whether I want to spend the money for another one of these. I do have a few other items from this brand that I like, but they are not cheap and I am not sure if want to give them another chance or buy something less expensive that gets the job done.

Looks nice even when not in use.

This is one of those, "I didn't know I needed this until I used it" products. I don't know why owning a contraption to hold my pot lids as I'm cooking never occurred to me but, I would just complain under my breath about having to use counter space. Last week when I scrolled past this, my eyes bulged. I NEED THIS! As with all YAMAZAKI products, they are minimalist in design and have many uses. This has a solid weight to it, and every lid I own (large and small) fit securely. Just remember to place lid handle towards you so you can pick it back up.

sturdy little gadget

first thing I did was put my #24 cast iron lid on it. It is heavy enough to secure the lid with no movement. I will keep this on my stovetop. I don't care if it is prone to rust. A can of Rustoleum is an easy fix.

Who knew?!

I never had a place to put the lid! One day I thought "I should invent a vertical lid rack for side of stove! Yeah that's my ticket!" But even though I was sure this was *my* idea, I looked on Amazon to see if there was anything like it and.... Lol this is exactly what I had in mind. Bought one and yes it is awesome. I was a little skeptical it would be sturdy enough, but it's great for my 12" glass lid or 7qt oval crockpot lid.

Great Design. Effective. Simple. Elegant.

It has solved the lifelong issue of pot lids and forks taking up valuable countertop and stove surface space. It's also quite elegant and easy to clean. Sturdy, and I know pot lids won't fall over if I keep it there. Good purchase.

Brilliantly designed product

Brilliantly designed product with multiple purposes! Very stable at holding a lid of upto 30cm diameter with ease. Not all cookbooks would work, only ones that could be opened flat. A 12.9 inch iPad Pro was held stable without any issues as well. Overall a great product. One minor niggle is that it’s not that easy to remove the drip tray for cleaning.

A Must Have For Any Kitchen and Those Who Enjoy Cooking

This is a great addition to any kitchen. It works as a spoon rest, cookbook holder and especially well as a pot lid holder. This will hold any size lid and is very stable. It is not very large so fits on a counter or on top of the range without taking up much space. It looks great as well. We purchased the black stand and am very pleased with it. It apparently comes in white as well and would likely be very attractive in a white kitchen setting. We highly recommend this item. It was also highly rated by America's Test Kitchen. This is where we first saw it and were very pleased when we found it was available through Amazon.ca.

Extremely Low Quality Finish.

The finish was shockingly poor. There were many, large air bubbles between the protective outer coating and the painted metal beneath. This could not have been missed by even the most cursory quality control check.

neat

This is a very useful toy, it is as described, it is very robust you ain't going to brake it, it holds all kinds of cooking stuff utensils pot lids, you know when you set them on the stove or counter and they drain water all over, well this thing has a neat little drain tray to catch it.Very happy I bought this, was a little apprehensive about the price but am well satisfied when I seen it it looks artisan but who knows.
