Attractive Addition to Just About any Home

After receiving this item I checked it against the description in the Amazon listing. The items and parts met the listing description except for one. My shade was not smoked. It was clear, which worked out better for me where I intended to use it (over a kitchen sink). No damage to parts or the finish were noted and the pendant was easy to assemble. Only tools needed were a screwdriver and wire cutter/stripper for installation. The pendant stem screws together using the two 9" and 2 4 3/4" pieces provided. Simply select the pieces you need to achieve the desired length. You cannot cut any of these pieces to a different size without destroying it as each end is threaded. The accompanying instructions are clearly written and fairly straightforward. My only complaint is the type size. The instructions state you should follow themexactly. I can see how you could get into trouble if you don't so don't deviate. Be aware that the furnished hardware does NOT contain screws to mount the provided crossbar to the electrical box. You need to furnish these on your own. No bulb is included. the fixture is rated for a maximum of 60W. One person should be able to handle installation with only minimal difficulty. When done you will have a nice attractive addition to any room. I like it a lot. Sold by Westinghouse. Made in Chine.

Attractive, well made and ETL listed. What’s not to like.

Well I kind of expected this. This light is well designed and well made, but it is a Westinghouse after all. The smoky grey glass is heavy duty and clear. It contrasts with the brass finish of the metal parts nicely. The socket is ceramic (60 watt max). The wiring is solid and entirely adequate for the load. The drop tube is adjustable from 4 ¾” to 19 ¼” depending on how many of the four sections you decide to screw together. And on top of all that, it is listed with ETL, That means it meets UL specs. It is quality. I give it a thumbs up.

Beautiful and heavy

I was shocked when I got this light it is a lot heavier than I expected, I love that the gold trim is on the outside of a glass it really makes the light stand out. They actually give you enough wiring which made extremely easy to change out my existing light that had a very short wiring harness. I’m not a gold type of person but just this little bit gives my kitchen that little extra pop of color.
