Perfection.
Very bright, smooth, clean light. I have it on a tall ceiling in my garage and it's much more effective than the two 23W CF bulbs on a forked socket it took the place of. Note: the illustration on this listing looks to me like the bulb could be a rounded square shape, but the shape is in fact circular.

Nice bright bulb.
Very bright, good color. A little longer than I expected, socket to face. Still a great value. If it lasts as long as expected, a spectacular value.

wrong size bulb...
the product description for this light bulb is Br40, so I ordered it but it doesn't fit in a regular 6" can light....its actually bigger than BR40's. I need a light bulb to actually fit in a 6" can light and be of low profile like this one at 2700k can you help ?

Bright, beautiful light -- measure your installation point before purchase!
I'm very happy with the light output of this Westinghouse DLR64 LED bulb, but not with the shape. I wouldn't exactly describe it as "sleek" or "low profile" though. It's a rather bulky bulb that's mostly hollow inside and only suitable for some spaces. I wasn't familiar with the shape "DLR", but the 64 designates the diameter in 1/8", so this is an 8" diameter light. DLR might be "downlight retrofit"? To me, it looks like an enlarged PAR bulb, a common bulb class. The problem for me is that the bulb is a tall funnel, but with a relatively short neck. Make sure this is right for you. It wasn't for me in most areas I wanted to install it in. I need longnecks instead, or a flat disc at the top. I tried it in multiple places in the house and could not find a socket it fit into. Originally I wanted to install it in the overhead socket of the shower, but most of the house has recessed sockets in cans, so no go there. The same in our basement. I tried outside with the motion activated floodlights, but no luck there either since they have a rain cover. I finally installed it in our study, but had to take off the lamp shade. It also didn't work in the first lamp socket I tried, even though the base is E26 according to Westinghouse's website, which ought to be fine. It's quite bright, with a pleasant warm yellowish light (2700K). I'm going to keep the light this way until the wife complains and may buy a few for the closets. The housing barely gets warm, making it very safe to operate in confined spaces. It's the coolest running LED bulb I've ever tested, aside from glass Edison bulbs, maybe owing to so much surface area for heat dissipation. My infrared thermometer measured the bulb at between 77 to low 90's °F for surface temperature after having been on for more than 90 minutes. Not for use with dimmers. Damp location suitable.

33% brighter than a 60W LED in my garage, maybe not worth the cost difference
A couple of years ago the highest rated Consumer Reports LED bulb was actually the Great Value 60W A19 LED bulbs from WalMart! I bought a bunch and replaced my incandescent as they burned out. I'm a car guy and having a lot of good lighting in the garage is important. Leaving all of my other LED bulbs in place, I replaced just one bulb to measure the differences with a lux meter and measured from the same spot at the same spot and took 5 measurements. The actual spot was the surface of my car door. The actual readings don't matter as much as the differences in readings. With one LED bulb removed, my LUX reading was 77. With THIS Westinghouse 20w (100w equiv.) bulb, my LUX reading was 138. With the Great Value 9w (60w equiv.) LED bulb from Walmart, my LUX reading was 105. Quick math says the 20w Westinghouse (100w equiv) bulb is about 33% brighter than then Great Value 9w (60w equiv) bulb. Or...it performs like that of an 80w bulb, not a 100w bulb. 3 stars because...as of today's writing, the Westinghouse is about 6X as much as the 9w (60w equiv) Great Value LED bulb from Walmart! The Great Value bulb is rated at 18 years and this one is 22 years, but who's to say EITHER will even last 10 years? I could still replace the Walmart bulb 6 times before it would be more expensive than a single Westinghouse 20w bulb. Without my lux meter, I could not visibly tell a difference, but math says it is about a 33% difference. Not a big enough difference for me to convert once you factor in price. For MY money, I'd rather use the Great Value LED bulbs at 9w, versus this 20w Westinghouse.

Warm And Bright: A Westinghouse 0319800 DLR64 Warm White 20W Utility LED Light Bulb Review
The Westinghouse 0319800 DLR64 warm white 20W utility LED light bulb, made in China, is equivalent to a 100W bulb and has an 8” diameter. The bulb can be used in damp areas, although is suggested for use in closets and utility rooms. At 2700K, this warm white bulb is very yellow. If you’re used to the older incandescent bulbs, you probably won’t notice, but most of our LED bulbs are more neutral. I really don’t like how warm the light from this bulb is. The shape of the bulb appears more fixture like than a bulb. This shape has a pleasing and more finished appearance than just a standard bulb. Plus the amount of light provided is excellent for our 9’ x 6.5’ pantry. The 2700K temperature rating would keep me from purchasing this bulb. If it came in a neutral temperature, I would gladly buy this bulb. If you’re okay with heavily warm light, this bulb is sure to please. PROS: Lasts 22 years at 3 hours per day Looks more like a light fixture than bulb 5 year limited warranty CONS: Very warm light Not dimmable
