Great Strippers, but weak material for the cutting operations.

Great strippers for flat wire. I used mine for 12-2 and 14-2 Romex and it worked a dream. The highest + setting stripped the Romex insolation off with ease (up to about 10 in.) with the best results being 4 inches or less. As for the individual wires, it was cake! I found the best setting for 12 and 14 AWG wires was the second to least setting. For the most part, the cutters were great and snipped the strands with ease. Over time, the plastic above the cutting blade might have had an existing crack or just fatigued over time and snapped on a 12 AWG solid wire. Overall, great buy for stripping but fatigues easily with larger gauge wire. Probably best with 14 AWG solid wire and smaller. Would definitely buy if there was a model of this style stripper/cutter made of a reenforced/stronger material.

Not great with romex in us. It works but not as well as Klein romex strippers. It has potential.

I have always wanted a way to strip romex from inside box. Other then normal methods. Klein made a romex stripper with a bent head for 14 2and separate one for 12 2 but it used to Nick the wire. This doesn’t work that well. Try at your own risk. It works but won’t strip like 9 inches off you would have to do 4 inches then 4 more

Does not work on LSF cable???? Works on grey t&e tho. Fantastic for downlights! Wish it was made of metal instead of plastic

German Quality and Reliability

When tool manufacturers are willing to stand behind their products for life, you know that they must be quality tools. These like the NWS and a handful of other German brands are made in Germany to extremely high standards that produce a very reliable and comfortable tool to use. Replacement blades are available for this also which says a lot about the build quality of this tool.
