A must-have item for hairy beasts

I've used an earlier model from the same manufacturer with a similar design. My old one was heavier than this and it had no battery system. That unit is still going strong even after over a decade of usage. It was time, I felt, to get a new one. (Also, I found out my father was using it and he's icky, so I let him keep my old one.) This unit is superior to the one I got for 20$ back in 2009. This item is solid and well made. Its clip options leave no need for anything more. If you keep your hair short in some places and longer in others or need help taming facial hair or other places that you let the hedges grow, this is a good item to have in your arsenal. It is easy to keep clean. It is easy to store. The wire feels a bit flimsy but I can already tell this unit will last me and my needs for an easy ten years. The battery in it is a bonus but it does not last as long and when the battery reaches about 10% power your hair will get caught in the blades so just keep it plugged in. I use this unit just like my old one, plugged in. It is strong enough to take care of my thick hair. I can't really express to you how much money I have saved by never going for a haircut since 2009. If you are starting out on cutting other people's hair, this would be a cheap option to get started in that field but I am not sure how long the unit would last if you used it for several hours every single day for years. This unit is made more cheaply than the old one I have that still runs like-new, but again, if this lasts me ten years, I'll be happy.

Quality tool

Husband likes the quality of this cutting tool. Attachments Easy to snap on/off. Comes with charger. Easy to clean with small brush provided. It even comes with oil! Better than a Remington he previously used. Not the deluxe model; Therefore not 5 stars.

Had some old hair clippers (like 20 years old) so thought may be time for new ones. These are GREAT! Plenty of attachments, work great, hold a charge well. I can not think of a negative. Would highly recommend

My wife loves it

My wife uses it to cut my hair, and she likes it much better than the last one. The only reason I haven't rated the battery life is because we haven't had it long enough to run the battery down.

Great clippers

These clippers are great. My other pair (that were a bit cheaper) unexpectedly stopped working and because of COVID, my husband and boys desperately needed haircuts. This time I did a ton of research on which ones to get because I knew that I was going to buy a “brand name” kind. These ones got great reviews on a bunch of websites and they were decently priced for Whal pair of clippers so I decided on these. I charged them up as soon as they came. I was a bit confused because the light never went off on them so I called the company and they notified me that the light in fact stays on once it was charged, so once I found that out, I oiled them up and we started the haircuts that afternoon. They work great. My kids hair is really thick and this cut through them no problem. I was able to do three separate cuts (husband, and two sons) one after another and it kept its charge no problem also my hands didn’t go numb from the vibration of the clippers nor did my hand get heavy from holding it for so long. I appreciate how it comes with all the separate attachments, especially the one that does by the ears as doing behind the ears scare that I’m going to nick them when I have to cut without an attachment and it it also comes some instructions on different haircuts and how to do fading which is extremely helpful. Overall, I would recommend these to others who are looking for a charger that is going to give you a great cut and will last a long time.

Got the product roughly a month ago and it has been great so far. the battery life on the unit is good, I mainly use it while it is plugged in. It came very fast and it is easy to use. The quality of the unit is great as well - would recommend!

Only used once so far but happy so far.

Since the start of COVID I have not gone to a barber shop, it just feels too close for me, people lined up for a turn in the same chair, same cape thrown over you and equipment used. I'm a male,over 60 with a full head of curly mostly grey hair and up until now I have just been shaving my head every couple months or so. I was getting tired of shaving bald every couple months, cold in winter, unprotected in summer so I got these clippers. I gave myself a hair cut and my wife was surprised at the result, I've come home from barber shops with cuts that were not as good. The balance and feel of this unit is very good. The cutting is clean with no pinches snags or pulling. All that remains now is to see how they stand up over time.

Done after 3 cuts.

Pretty disappointing, but at least the return policy on these is 3 months. The springs forcing the blades close to each other wore out very quickly, and made it so that it was pulling and tearing your hair apart rather than cutting it. Get some proper wired clippers, the power on these was fairly weak too. The clippers by Remington are better.

Most definately an excellant deal!

I am late writing this review so it's actually a good thing because I've now had this device to say that it is still working like new as of April 2/21. This is excellent for home clippers. I cut myself and roomy's hair and there's absolutely nothing missing from this kit. You have all the levels, it's really easy to use and thank goodness we have a product like this because we've saved hundreds of dollars by now for two males using the device so if you've go kids too this is great for mom's too. Strongly recommended and above the bar quality vs prices and the savings are utterly fantastic. For guys who are cutting your own hair I would recommend a hand mirror to check the back for perfection.
