Love this stuff for natural curls

Leaves hair soft & only mildly stiff

The only reason I gave this product a 4 is NOT because there's anything wrong with the product, but because it doesn't leave my hair with the soft flexible curls I thought it would. There is a little crunchiness to it. And it dries out my hair a little. However, I have "chemo curls" because my hair is growing in after chemotherapy. The chemo curls are already dry, and this product made my hair a little more dry, especially the 2nd day. I'm sure it will work better for someone who is not dealing with "chemo curls."

Nice cream

I like the smell of this cream. I had originally used too much cream which made my hair a strange stiffness that felt almost greasy. But now that I'm using way less (like a tablespoon for my shoulder length curly hair) it's been nice to reduce the frizz and help for my curls.

I’ve used for 5+ years

I have thick/curly hair & have used this product for 5+ years. I have tried MANY products but I always go back to this curl cream. It doesn’t leave my hair crunchy, minimizes frizz, and lasts all day. I would recommend using this product with a hair serum to add shine.

The negative reviews are right

Like others have said, this product made my hair feel weirdly dirty and straw-like (even with added leave-in conditioner). I love other unite products so I was surprised at these results. It also didn’t enhance my curls at all. I’ll go back to what I was using before.

Clever fake or factory second? Suspicious.

This looks like Boing Defining Curl Cream but it doesn’t quite smell right. There’s a definite difference in both scent and the hold the cream gives. I suspect that this is probably a factory second, where the formula wasn’t quite right. I noticed the bottle wasn’t sealed and it smells slightly more sickly sweet and faint than the old bottle I compared it to (which I bought directly through unite). Next time I’ll be shopping from Unite’s own website.

Does what it’s supposed to do!

Really good curl enhancer! Soft curls not hard and stiff. Smells nice too. May take a couple of goes to see how much suits your hair. Seems expensive but think it’s going to go a long way.
