Useful gadget

Build quality is excellent with a very accurate spacing guide. Won't be used often but will save so much time and pain joining wood. Good instructions included as well

Stop looking, the search ends here.. BUY ONE

Having already wasted money on the "cheaper" alternatives, you know the ones, free clamp, 100 pieces of cut dowelling, a blunt drill bit and a soft metal jig, those ones.... I decided to do it properly. I'm only a weekend woodworker, brought on by furlough, so couldn't justify the eye watering cost of the Kreg devices, sexy as they are... This item turned up next day and straight away I was impressed by the build quality. Heavy and chunky with positive adjustment and a sheet delight to use. I spent weeks watching videos on jigs and "how to" stuff and dithered in deciding. I'm glad that the search is finally over.. 30 quid well spent. If you're not sure... go for it. Wish I'd done it earlier...????

Great bit of kit.

Can’t fault this, it’s a mini jig so doesn’t come with a clamp. Thus can’t rate it down for that. It’s a good entry point into pocket holes, does the job absolutely fine. If you want something you can adjust more, have a clamping mechanism, you will pay more. This is priced well for what it can do. Solid build and very capable.

Brilliant

Never tried pocket hole joinery before, and I thought I'd try it out whilst building a new mitre saw bench. Didn't want to spend too much on a pocket hole jig so went for this little bad boy. It's a brilliant little jig. Took a couple of goes to get it right (as I said, never tried pocket holes before) but it's easy to set up and use. I would recommend that you clamp the jig to your wood rather than "freestyling" as it makes it sooooo easier. Wood I recommend this product? All day long

Very solid and reliable

In terms of workshop kit, this falls into the "keep forever" category. Solid, unbreakable, works Like all these things - needs a good clamp to hold in in place and the depth setting collar needs regular tightening but that's more a regular feature of this sort of thing than a problem. I like it
