Good size and number of transformation steps

I bought these for my 5 year old because the other transformers we have are either way too difficult (following lego-like instructions in a booklet) or way too easy (meant for toddlers). These are great. They're a good size and they transform in a reasonable number of easy-to-learn steps. Very happy with this purchase. (Also happy that it came with a 2nd one that the older sib could enjoy with his bro.)

We spend a lot on toys hate when they break in ten minutes and have to throw them away. These toys have lasted a while and simple for kids to transform

A little too flimsy for tiny hands

My son was very happy with these. However bumblebee is already in 2 piece. This toy is better suited for 8 yrs+ than my 5yo. Its way to easy to break for little rough hands.

Great value, fun toy

We got these for my 4 year old son about 6 months ago. I was a little worried that they would be too hard for him, but with a little help he figured out how to transform them on his own. That's probably the best part of these. Many of the current transformers toys are so easy they are boring or so complicated you need a degree to figure them out. These strike a nice balance for a kid. They have also held up really well over the last 6 months. The plastic feels a little cheap so I was worried they wouldn't last, but so far they've held up really well. My only complaint is that Bumblebee doesn't come with a gun. Why? Are the good guys not allowed to shoot back? In the end these aren't as good as the originals, what is, but for the money these are a great buy.

Nice characters, box is plain and brown

So, i got these because my son asked for tranformers for christmas. They are name brand transformers and there is two, however. The box they come in is sad. A plain brown box thats printed with black ink. Nothing super special about it and not like the transformers in the stores. Im sure my son will be happy but it still sucks that theres no awe factor when a kod goes to open this. Packaging is very bland and sad.
