Solid Costume… but what’s with the weak buttons??

My wife is a big Hamilton fan and wanted to dress up as George Washington for Halloween! Bought this costume early to ensure we are all set in time and aren’t rushing like usual. I’m a bigger set guy at 6 foot, 240 lbs and I got the XL size. It fit great actually. Better than expected and pleasantly surprised. Pants were comfortable and roomy due to the elastic waistband. The coat was slightly long in the sleeves but overall not an issue. I’ll be wearing a shirt underneath as it only comes with the neck/bib thing and the coat. My only complaint was that when I opened the package to try on the costume- 1 button instantly fell off the coat and another button was hanging on very loosely; no joke “by a thread”… I’ll be getting all the buttons reinforced and tightened so I don’t lose any of them. Overall good value but watch out for loose buttons… I would have given this a 5 star item but the buttons literally fell off when I pulled out the costume. And for $52.00 bucks- I would have hoped these buttons were more secured. Other than that… the costume will work out perfectly! Plus- Being an elementary school teacher, this historical costume will work out just fine for my students during Halloween so this was a win-win!

Great Price....not so good quality

My son loved how comfy it was. It came with the whole outift except a hat and wig. The only thing we didn't like after wear for an hr at a party he had lost 6 buttons on it. Not sure it the button were loose but with just walking around they were gone..

Great costume for the price!

Worth the price! Nice quality material. Buttons are flimsy and could send extra buttons when they pop off! Everything is the costume except the shoes and socks. For reference size 5’11 and 195 lbs and got the standard size. It was just right, comfortable and not overly small or big.

So awesome!

Love it. My hubs was able to wear long underwear under the costume for the Christmas parade. George Washington crossing the Delaware on Christmas day!

Looks good, cheaply made

Overall, the costume looks great. It does, however, seem to be made fairly cheaply - which was expected at the price point. I wore it for Halloween and after a few hours the cuffs of the sleeves were fraying and beginning to unravel. I can still wear again I’m sure, but I wouldn’t expect to get more than a handful of uses out of it.

Ok for a one time use

This was purchased for Halloween to go with the granddaughters Belle Costume. Size: 5’7, 210 pounds. Average shirt size XL Pros: The overall costume has great detail and from a distance or from photos gives the “Beast” look Cons: The fabric of the coat is a cheap stiff martial that took a long time to steam out the wrinkles. The buttons were poorly sewn on so we had to reinforce the buttons with additional thread. If this is for a one time use, it works. If you are looking to build a professional cosplay to use multiple times, I would pass

Truth about Aristocrat Outfit

The color was great (royal blue & gold); the material is polyester; the blue jacket has NO POCKETS; the gold vest is sewn into the jacket, & also has NO POCKETS; the pants have NO POCKETS; Its not an actual ruffled shirt, it kust has the appearance of such; the buttons are pre-fastened, so they dont manually slide into any holes. NO SHOES cane with the costume, & no whig came with it. Wearing this will definitely impress people, but its not the most practical of outfits.

Overall good, but have your needle and thread handy....

I got the Standard size for my hubby for the next Halloween dress up for the office and when giving away candies to the kids. It did fit him well. It came with the pants with elastic waist band, a bib that is meant to look like a white inner shirt, and the blue coat with yellow vest. Only downside is the flimsy buttons, which others have mentioned in the reviews. It's a no biggie if you're like me who can do some quick reinforcement by hand sewing the buttons. If I didn't have to go through the buttons part, this could have been a 5 star rating. ????

Perfect size for female cosplayer!

My girl wants to be a beauty and she want me (5'4" normal width female) to be a beast. All other costumes are for men and fits too big, but this one fits perfect!! Jacket fabric is thicker than I expected. I like the firmness of it. Overall well designed, but buttons popped out with gentle touch. I'm thinking to re-do them all.
