Looks well thought-out . . . time will tell

I got it for $144.41 in ‘Used Like New’ condition from Amazon Warehouse––saving $45 over Amazon list price. It looks like a well thought-out product, and went in without a lot of trouble. My wife already likes it better than the old one and had no problem using the spray handle, despite arthritic thumb joint. Only time will tell if it lasts, or develops problems early. I don't put much stock in early reviews, and neither should you. I take the review process seriously and will raise or lower my evaluation depending on performance over time. While installing I did a comparison with my 9-year old kitchen faucet that cost $209 from Ferguson's. The supply lines and main delivery line on this product are 1/16" to 1/8" smaller in outside diameter than the old one. (The inside diameter which carries the water is the same.) Also the main faucet body is lighter; the threaded part that holds it to the counter top is not brass, the mounting lock nut is aluminum not stainless and neither are the locking screws. This may all be well thought out engineering design to bring the price below the $200 ouch point, without affecting performance and longevity––or not. Time will tell. Paying more will not necessarily get you better, as a reading of reviews of the big name brands will show you. I'm happy for now, and while troubleshooting the old faucet, I found and repaired two other problems under my kitchen sink. (1) a missing bib washer on the hot water cutoff valve, which I was able to repair by replacing the seat with one from a new BrassCraft valve ($10) with no need for soldering. (2) a leak in the main sink drain which turned out to be a bad 1-1/2" plastic gasket (a $2.09 fix). Always feel good when I can diagnose and solve problems like this and save hundreds in plumber bills. I may not have even needed the new faucet, as the fix to the cutoff valve seemed to solve the low hot water pressure problem. This had been a recurring problem for at least three years, and this time it hit on Thanksgiving Day! But after I found the deal, we decided to go for it and keep the old one as a backup. The lesson there is to be sure you don't have other problems before condemning your faucet. Low water pressure is frequently a supply line problem, often a broken valve or line clogged with something. There are some helpful videos on youtube about solving this.

Sturdy Build, Distinctive with one caution

This faucet is a brute so I was a bit disappointed to find that the spray head hose is so damn flexible that it kinks easily. You have to be careful as you use it to spray around the sink as any kinks shut off water flow. I know it has to be somewhat flexible but this is like a limp noodle. Previous experience with Delta and Price-Pfister were quite different ... oh well ... We'll learn to live with it or search for sturdier replacement eventually. Other than that annoyance it's fine.

Beautiful but...

Absolutely love this faucet! It is really unique and gets a lot of compliments. The only complaint I have - the sprayer is not insulated and gets VERY hot or VERY cold while using it to the point that I drop it. A bit of a bummer. I wonder if I'd be able to replace it with another sprayer..? Otherwise it's the best faucet ever.

Oh goodness. I wanted a bridge faucet in my kitchen but couldn’t commit to one until this one came across my Amazon suggestions. I installed it while doing my kitchen refresh and it is perfect. It’s a great size, quality and it looks great with my black hardware. I was nervous about this purchase but I am so glad I decided to get it.

Very easy to install

Looks good, works well, good spray choices. Biggest problem was getting the old faucet that had been there for 30 years off the sink. Installation of Kraus was easy, though climbing under the sink was a bit uncomfortable for this 75 year old lady. :-)

Robust and great style

You know you got a good faucet when your engineer friend notices it the first time he enters your kitchen. This is a robust, industrial-like faucet in function that also has great style for an ordinary kitchen. The flow is smooth and strong; the height easily accommodates large pots and bowls, and the sprayer attachment is heavier and more flexible than any I have used before. The only downside is that when the knobs are turned, you can't tell which one is on, so we sometimes try to turn the wrong one off before we remember which one we used. A small mark on the top of the handle would solve that issue.

Feels as special as it looks!

Easy installation, with everyday tools. It's well packaged in a nicely designed box and instructions manual, which was easy to follow. Probably took me about 20 minutes to install. The faucet looks well made with a good weight to it, the lever is well, I guess tuned would be the word... Feels good to operate and is easy to adjust temperature and flow, hard to describe in written word, me not being a writer... Just works well. Water flow is good and to switch from regular spray to the shower mode. Aerator works well too, minimizing splatter, which is why I changed my previous faucet.

So cool!

I love the look of this product. It is on the expensive side but made of good quality. The one thing I noticed and have sent a message to the company is that when you turn it off, it does shut off immediately. It slows to a trickle and then stops.
