Great gate for large dogs

It was a bit of a pain to install and the first one had bent slats. But once the replacement was installed, it's worked great. Follow the instructions, use the template and you should be good to go. I like that it doesn't have the tripping hazard base of the pressure type. I found myself tripping over it. Likely would get used to it but don't want others tripping. I also like that the gate can stay open when not needed and I swing it shut when I need to answer the front door (and don't want two additional greeters).

good gate

This does very well at the top of stairs. We needed a tall gate because the little one is a climber. Only complaint is the mounting backets are made of plastic. I hope it holds up. A tip...wall mounted gates are to be anchored to the studs, not the drywall.

Nice gate but be careful with install

I like this gate, it feels sturdy. Install should have been easy, but I found out just how not square my walls are. If you may also have that problem, I found it was easier to install the hinge side and place the gate, and then align the clasp side to match, rather than try to use the included templates. Also, if you have baseboards, it may be difficult to install this so that it is low enough (3" above floor) to be safe.

The BEST one handed gate.

Nothing to complain about at all. I love the powder coat feel of it and it unlatches easily one handed and latches behind me with just a push. Swings both ways and even my skinny cat can’t get thru tho she sails right over. My 2 fat cats, the ones who need to be banned from an area, cannot possibly get over, under or around.

Very sturdy and easy to install.

This steel gate is great. For my application I had to remove one bar from the end and the gate is very solid. Also note that the left side mounted slightly uneven as the mounting process allows for some variance. As I need another, I am getting another one of these.

Great puppy barrier

Most sturdy and durable baby gate I've ever used

This thing is tough, tall and will take a beating. Highly recommended. I've bought three other brands and this is the BEST by FAR.

Love it!

Parents this is the gate you NEED! I’ve had 4 other kinds before this one. And none of them had held up to my Rottweiler, kindergartner, and toddler trifecta, except this one. Just make sure you screw it into your studs and not just drywall and this gate will be the best you’ll ever own.
