Great bowls for wet cat food
These bowls are sturdy to carry when filled with a large 11 oz can of canned cat food. They do not leak and are big enough to avoid whisker fatigue. Not for use as a water bowl, they will soften and start to sag overnight. Will buy again.

These have been very good
These have been very good. They are fairly sturdy. Not quite as sturdy as others we have used but they work well. They microwave ok. They do not leak easily. The edges are not as rigid as others otherwise they would be a 5. But we like them. Made in USA!

A bit flimsy, but good for fast cleanup.
I don't have a full sized dishwasher and have five people in my house- I get tired of washing dishes by hand, and anything to help cut the load down makes a difference. I really like the idea of using unbleached recycled and recyclable paper bowls, and these have met my expectations fairly well. Like the Dixie ecosmart paper plates, these bowls have a light waxy coating on them that repels liquids. What that coating is I have no clue, but judging by the feel and sheen I want to say that it's paraffin. The coating also keeps melted cheese from sticking to the inside of the bowls, and even cheese-heavy scrambled eggs slide right off of these. These bowls are on the flimsier side, so if eating soup or cereal from them it's best to keep it on a table. These bowls will fold onto themselves when lifted while holding liquids or otherwise heavy foods, so care must be exercised. However these bowls do not leak for me with cereal, and my whole family has been using them frequently for weeks. I have not had one incident where the bowls fail on their own. These bowls are perfectly fine for fried/oven fried foods, salads, dry snacks, and other such purposes. Though these are not optimal for an all-purpose disposable bowl, they are good for light duty foods, and make cleanup much easier. I appreciate using unbleached, recycled, and recyclable paper over bleached paper or plastic. Good recycled paper bowls
I have been using Dixie paper goods for years now, and they have never let me down. These recycled paper bowls seem to be around the same size as their regular paper bowls and hold a good amount. They feel slightly thinner than what I am used to, but they hold up well to most foods, both hot and cold. The only thing I wouldn't recommend is heating up very hot liquids for a long time. They don't feature any pattern or design, but are a natural brown color, since they are made from recycled materials. The price is fair for the amount of bowls that are included. Overall, these are a good option for paper bowls and it's a nice added plus that they are recycled.

Great Dixie quality
I’ve always been a fan of Dixie products because they are sturdy, durable and soak-proof. These 20oz 100% recycled fiber paper bowls are great for breakfast, lunch, dinner, dessert and most events like BBQ, parties, etc. No pretty prints but the brown color gives that recycled feel to it. Holds a good amount of food, great for soups. Love that these are microwavable and cut resistant. At around 14 cents a piece, I think it’s a decent value.

Brand name and eco-friendly! But not compostable
There are tons of recycled material paper goods by different brands on Amazon, but this is the first time I'm trying one by a brand I recognized (other than hot cups- there are plenty of brand name hot cups made from recycled materials). Let me tell you, this is a LOT of bowls- so you better made sure you like them before you order this quantity. But the next thing I want to say is THEY ARE GREAT! A lot of people fear recycled goods are going to be sub par quality and durability, but this is not the case. These hold hot or heavy items without breaking or leaking just as well as non-recycled counterparts, and they are priced similarly. That's a big win! The only thing better about some of the other brands I've tried, is the fact that they are compostable. This does not claim to be, and in fact if you reach out to the manufacturer they will inform you that they are not. That's disappointing since there are cheaper brands which claim to be, but otherwise these are quality bowls from a quality brand.

Better than the cheap plastic bowls i normally get
I normally use plastic bowls but these worked quite well; probably sturdier than the cheap plastic bowls I normally get. They've been sturdy enough to handle a variety of foods and liquids that we're used them for. Overall, if you need some bowls , i think you wont regret these.
