Nice long lasting color

This is a very nice product. To begin with the positive, I really liked the color. It's a rosy brown that strikes a nice balance between pinkish and brownish tones. However, it was slightly darker than I expected, from the photo on this website. I personally like pigmented colors so this wasn't a bad thing for me--but, I just wanted other customers to know that, in case they have a different preference. It is certainly very rich and doesn't take much to get full color. As with all of theBalm's liquid matte colors, this also has a minty scent to it, that sort of reminds me of minty Girl Scout cookies. I personally like it but, if anyone dislikes or is sensitive to scents, avoid this. The minty scent is pretty substantial and lasted for a few minutes after application (but then, fades eventually). The lasting power is also very impressive. I first got this same product in another color called Committed, for my wedding day. It literally lasted all day and night, through the ceremony, dinner and toasts. I didn't have to touch it up even once and the photos taken at the end were as good as the ones taken at the beginning. This Reliable color is much the same way and I wear it every time I need a long lasting lip color. You can really put it on just once and then, not have to reapply it. It takes just a little while to dry down to a complete matte. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is that, as with most liquid matte lipsticks, I found it a bit drying. However, I think that's a tradeoff that you sometimes have to make for a longer lasting lip color. On the whole, I think this is a great product for someone who likes neutrals and needs a long lasting color.

Not sealed properly

I love the color and it's not too drying on the lips. IMO it's much more lightweight than Beauty Bakerie's matte lip whips. So that's a plus. My only concern is that there is no proper seal. How do I know if this was not a returned item tried by somebody else? There is no outer seal on the box, there is no seal around the lipstick itself. As far as the consistency, I'm loving it and plan to buy the set soon. Not sure how well this stays but I will write an update when I've used it enough.

I love this product

This is exactly what I want in a lip color...However, I have yet to find the right shade. So far Sincere has been the best, but the 3 other shades I bought were too orangey! Maybe I'll just be satisfied with Sincere for now, but I am disappointed that the shades haven't been beautiful.

LOVE!!

I LOVE liquid lipsticks from "The Balm". I got "Affectionate" a Gorgous Lilac shade. A great dupe for ABH " Soft Lilac". Its a lot more moisturizing than her lipsticks too..and I like the shade more!! It is also scented like Chocolate Mint, which I love, bc its not too obnoxious, and goes away , once its dried. I dont know why these dont more hype, bc they are GORGEOUS!! I also have "Devoted" and a sampler package #3...and theres not ONE bad one..even the deep red, which is hard to find one that doesnt dry patchy. I buy a lot of cosmetics...and Im impressed!! ❤????????

Schöne Farbe

Der Lippenstift hat ein schönes dunkleres Rot. Schmeckt etwas minzig, was mir sehr gefällt. Er könnte nur noch haltbarer sein, deshalb 1 Stern Abzug.

Super Farbe ohne austrocknen
