Pilot holes

Cheap cheap screws! Good value, but you better drill pilot holes and have the right bit that gets a snug fit. The metal on these screws is typical Chinesium and strips like butter. In my pack, i had 3 screws with welded heads that were unusable. I didn't count, so I'm assuming there was a full 100 but I used every last one for a project. Half of them mostly stripped out, and the last screw head completely stripped and I had to cut it out with an oscillating cutter. Go figure the last screw gives me the most trouble. If you need a bunch of cheap #4 screws where they won't be exposed (ugly mangled heads when you're done screwing them in), these are it.

Great for soft wood.

Sometimes the screw bit would strip one but was probably my error.

Junk! Breaks too easily.

Out of the 32 that I used... 4 broke. That's a 12% failure rate. I used a standard screw driver. I would understand if I used a power tool but these screws broke when I didn't even get the screws in all the way! I had to use plyers to pull them out and try another. Absolute junk! But the 88% that did work seem to be holding... for now.
