Approved Aviation Multimeter

This is a almost perfect meter for aviation Avionics technicians almost all features are really handy, and work well like the auto select feature is almost always right. The one feature that is so brilliant has a flaw only the negative lead will detect if it’s not connected. Build quality for the meter and leads is nice you always wanna use the meter. Specs are very accurate, I parallel two generators and voltage regulators which have to be within less then 1% of eachother and we retested to ensure with a more accurate meter and it was bang on. Very Professional paper work with all the criteria needed for aviation. This meter made me a fan boy for testo because of its specs, professionalism, German made, and very competitive pricing. Keep Up the good work!

Testo multi⚡meter ????????

Great multimeter, one handed operation a snap. The display is very good; viewing angles, multi-criteria, backlit function lights evenly. Fits in hand nicely. Accuracy spot on for my purposes, the German engineering makes this meter top notch. Comes with very good silicone leads out of the box. The Testo accessories I purchased are also top notch, equal or better to fluke.

WHAT IS THIS???

The media could not be loaded. Absolutely horrible piece of equipment!!! Probes never zero, BS ohms readings jumping up and down on brand new out of the box shorted probes. Super slow on reading of anything. After trying this piece of junk I'm questioning Testo brand reputation. This masterpiece should've never left its factory. Feels good in hands, large display, la-di-da but that's about it. Oh yeah, the dessert: you have to unplug and move your red probe to another socket to switch between Voltage and Current measurements - here you have your "one hand buttons operation", all other measurements are switched internally via relays. I have no clue what moron developed/engineered this multimeter.

solides Allround-Gerät

Habe das Gerät als anspruchsvoller Heimanwender gekauft. Es bietet zahlreiche Funktionen, die man z.B. bei Reparaturen an elektronischen Geräten brauchen kann. Die Qualitätsanmutung ist professionell und solide. Das Display ist gut ablesbar und die gleichzeitige Anzeige von Spannung und Frequenz empfinde ich als sehr praktisch. Da ich keine Kalibriernormale zu Hause habe, kann ich über die Genauigkeit nichts sagen. Ich vertraue aber auf die detaillierten Angaben im Datenblatt und die Endkontrolle des Herstellers. Der von einem anderen Käufer kritisierte kleine Offset (Anzeige geht nicht ganz auf 0 zurück) bei Strommessungen ist bei meinem Exemplar auch vorhanden, er liegt aber innerhalb der im Datenblatt angegeben Toleranz (x % + 5 Digit). Über die Haltbarkeit/Lebensdauer kann ich nach 4 Wochen noch nichts sagen. Nach meiner bisherigen Erfahrung würde ich das Gerät wieder kaufen.

Gutes Preis/Leistungsverhältnis.

Ich schließe mich der Rezension von OceanBlue72 an, aber möchte einen Punkt anfügen, der mich stört: Im Modus für automatische Messgrößenerkennung "überlegt" das Gerät zunächst eine (kleine) Weile, ob es sich bei dem angelegten Signal um Gleich- oder Wechselspannung handelt. Diese Verzögerung empfinde ich als etwas zu hoch. Wenn man die zu messende Spannung manuell vorwählt, wird das Messergebnis deutlich flotter angezeigt. Dieser kleine Makel, der mich persönlich etwas stört, ändert aber nichts daran, dass ich das Gerät uneingeschränkt für den ambitionierten Hausgebrauch empfehlen kann.

Sauber verarbeitetes Messgerät

Stammt wohl aus heimischer Produktion (steht wenigstens drauf) und lässt sich einfach bedienen. Bedienungsanleitung zu verstehen ist gewöhnungsbedürftig. Hier gilt die Devise "Try and Error"
