Good light boots

Very warm, waterproof. Sizing is small. Usually an 11, had to buy a 12. Boots have a weird chemical smell that took a while to dissipate.

Extremely Comfortable

Right out of the box these boots felt like sneakers while wearing them. They are very comfortable. I did a 10 mile hike in them 3 days after they arrived with 3 water crossings. Now, yes, they got wet. The water was thigh deep. Water does not drain from these boots so I had to take them off and dump the water. They seemed to dry decently while walking and my feet stayed rather warm as well.

Lightweight, comfortable & warm.

Very comfortable to wear, these boots don't have a high heel, heel drop is low (which is great, hate large heels on any shoe). They're wide and fit nicely, accommodates thick socks. Even though they are lightweight, they are very warm. Great boots for being out in the snow.

What snow boots should be

In Minnesota everyone says you need big, sturdy, fur-lined snow boots. After 10 years of use, the rubber split across the tops of my Sorel Caribous, and as I thought about replacing them I asked myself some questions. Do boots really have to be this heavy and bulky? Is this really what I want to wear walking my dog in winter? Why can't I drive my car in these? When shoveling after a heavy snowfall, does it really make any difference if my boots come up to mid-calf or just high-ankle? The answers: no; no; because they're too big; and no, you'll get snow on your knees regardless. After searching around I ordered these Columbias and I couldn't be happier. They are so comfortable, especially around the heels and ankles. They arrived right before I was going to the movies, and they felt so good I actually wore them to the theater (yes, I drove there). When I got home I walked the dog in 14F; some of my fellow citizens hadn't shoveled their sidewalks; my feet were warmer than the old Sorels, stayed dry, and I didn't walk like Frankenstein. One word of advice: order a size or maybe size-and-a-half up. In sneakers or dress shoes I wear a 10 and have a semi wide foot. In these I ordered an 11W and I don't think I could have gone any smaller.

Fits great and looks great!

I bought these boots to have a stylish, warm everyday winter boot. A boot to wear shoveling snow, out for a walk, or even to church. This boot delivers on all my hopes. Would certainly buy again! Update: Laces are fraying and near breaking after 4 months of use. Moving my review down to 4 stars.

Not really waterproof for long

I’ve been wearing these boots for two MN winter seasons now. As soon as they broke in and got some creases whatever membrane is used for waterproofing is spent. Ridiculous that my toes are wet when it says waterproof on the back of the boot. They are very warm and comfortable but I have to avoid puddles and snow deeper than the sole. If snow gets on top of the toe my sock will get wet. Luckily I haven’t been out in them long enough for it to be a frostbite issue, but wet feet in subzero temps is scary.

Keeps the feet warm

I’m from LA and I needed some boots for my trip to Chicago. The insulation worked well, my feet were warm through your trip to Chicago. I went during early March, 40 degree weather. During my trip it did not snow but it did rain, my feet were dry as well. To add the boots are broken in, no need to wear them prior to my trip. Please note if your shoe size is 9, go 1/2 a step up because of the insulation.

Great Lightweight Winter Boots

I do a lot of walking every day, and needed a pair of warm, lightweight, durable, comfortable boots for the winter. These boots meet all my requirements, they feel more like sneakers than boots, and look good too. Perfect for long winter walks.

I’ve purchased these to be used when fishing on muddy river banks! They are complete waterproof and keep your feet so warm! Also they are ultra light! Love them!

Sturdy warm boots, fit as expected. Slightly lighter blue than in photos but still look good.

Warm and comfortable

These boots are warm and comfortable. Usually winter boots are heavy not very useful for long hikes but these boots are very light and feels like trainers or running shoes. They are narrow but after some long hikes in these boots they feel much better. Overall a really good boot.
