Stretches to Fit Odd Shaped 9 x 13 Openings

I have an assortment of vintage 9 x 13 dishes/pans I that have long been used for potluck and large family gatherings. Can't imagine getting rid of the old in favor of newer options with click lids, but hate the waste of plastic and foil for storage and transport. The OXO cover was the perfect solution. It stretches to cover a variety of shapes and handles, seals nicely, and washes up well. Attaching example pics of fit on Dansk pan w/ handle, a smaller glass 9x13 casserole, and a tall larger opening 9 x 13 glass disk with irregular handles. Not perfect but a huge improvement over foil or plastic. I will order a few more when supply and the price improve.

Not the easiest to wash

I was pleasantly surprised that this can stretch to fit over a dish with handles without compromising its function to keep the contents sealed. The silicone is thick enough to be durable. The only downside is that this can be difficult to clean based on its shape and material. I would like to see this lid offered in different colors as I believe it may stain over time when used repeatedly for pasta dishes.

Works as expected

This works well for my needs. The silicone is thick and strong. It is easy to pull over the pan and seems to hold on to the pans well. It works on all of my standard 9x13 baking dishes, but I could see where it may not work on pans with handles. The pull tabs on the corners make it easy to slide the lid into place. I also like that the corners are reinforced with a more sturdy piece that helps it to grip and stay in place better. I love having this to replace the need for single use plastic wrap. It says it is dishwasher safe and heat resistant. It is pretty easy to clean and it rolls up to take up very little room in storage. I feel like this silicone will hold up well for a long time.

Good quality. Will not fit well on all 9"x13. Claims to replace foil but no info on reheat temp

On fit, these fit ok our 9x13 glass Pyrex casserole dish. They do not fit well at all on our 9x13" Mikasa. And on the Pyrex I would not use these to transport on anything but a short ride, anything even with ant of liquid in them as even if you get what you feel is a tight fit, there are gaps. But for using as a cover for a day or two in fridge and keeping food moderately covered from air, this works well. On esthetics, these abyssally will stain with tomato and not look great, but that isn't really a surprise. Nothing on box indicates if you can expose these to any heat. the product is advertised as "Replaces single-use cling wrap and aluminum foil." Ok we don't reheat with cling wrap. But most people's use of foil is for easy reheat. Usually silicone can take a fair amount of heat so I would like to know whether they can be exposed to 200 or 225 for warming up food and there is no info here, nor on oxo's own site as to that.

Decent silicone wrap but does not fit my pans

I am for reducing waste in disposable cling wraps or aluminum foil using this silicone wrap. The material is stretchy and will fit rectangular pans and trays. While this is the intent, I had a difficult time finding a pan in my collection that this wrap fit well. I did find two that can work in a pinch but there are air gaps. Just have to be lucky to have exact pans for this wrap and you will be golden. 3.5 Stars. OXO is a great brand generally. This wrap just didn't work perfectly for me.

Only fits pans without handles.

Since this cover is from OXO, I really expected it to be great. But unfortunately, it doesn't fit well on any of my 9 x 13 pans, because they all have handles that extend out past the pan. You can stretch the cover over the handles, but then you don't have a tight seal. The cover is stretchy, strong, and well constructed, but I only recommend it if you have OXO brand pans for the best fit.

Excellent quality lid

You can always trust Oxo to come up with quality items. I love having this lid for my 9x13 pans. It fits well and though I wouldn't turn it over and shake it, it does prevent leaks and splashing, as well as protecting the food in the pan. I have no complaints. Functions exactly as one would expect. Go, Oxo!

One of my favorite kitchen finds!!

Where has this been all my life?! I hope it's something new and not anything that I've been missing out on for a long time, because it is so great!! We are Casserole Queens in the south and need the ability to transport them safely to lots of different functions. My favorite 9x13" ceramic Caraway pan did not have a lid, but now it does! It fits great and is the easiest to clean. I absolutely love it. I will say that if your casserole is still hot when you cover it, you should be aware that it really traps in the steam. If you've got a crunchy layer on the top that you want to maintain, you should keep an eye on it. This cover will probably need to be removed or vented on the way to your destination to prevent any sogginess caused by the steam. I think this is such a great find though- I absolutely love it and 11/10 recommend it if you have 9x13" pans with no lid.
