Give it a good screw!
This handy replacement saved me from having to repurpose my first Sigg as a vase when I lost the cap. Then I found a cap-less Hello Kitty Sigg at a thrift shop for two dollars. A thorough scrubbing, a new cap... and voila! Color me happy. I'm surprised this product has any negative reviews... I don't understand what there is to complain about. The cap keeps the water in and has a ring for your finger. (They liked it, so they put a ring on it.) If it gets dirty, wash it. If you don't want to have to turn it seven times to take it off, don't turn it seven times when you put it on. (And really, who buys a screw top and then complains about having to unscrew it?) I haven't tried the other style caps, so maybe I don't know what I'm missing... but I'm very happy with this one and glad I was able to purchase extras.

Not much to say about a cap..
I bought it to replace the cap I originally had, which had black ring on the white washer. From other reviews looks like I wasn't the only one. I sterilized it but decided to replace with a new cap anyways. As a cap it works great, good seal, easy to open. Nice big loop to hook your finger in. To be fair I have kept the old bottle closed days at a time. Gonna actively keep it open more often though to try and prevent that black ring from forming.

Does the job, but wish they lasted longer
I love my Sigg water bottles, but these plastic lids tend to develop a mildew around the white plastic rim that no amount of bleach seems capable of removing. Essentially, depending on how you use them perhaps, plan on replacing these once or twice a year. Perhaps if I took the lids off more frequently to let them dry out this wouldn't happen...but not worth the hassle. Also, you may want to put the new lids through the wash machine before using them, as they initially have a plastic-smell to them (it goes away though).

Super Nice Screw Tops
All, Ignore the viewer who gave one star due to having to unscrew the top. Its fast to take the top of, plus it's good exercise for your fingers. I threw away all the other tops, they leaked or like another viewer said they don't give a good stream to drink. The bottles are so light, you don't have to worry about breaking them either. They never leak, shake them up and down, nothing comes out. I have about ten of these bottles to last me through a week. I have different designs and different sizes and love them all. You'll love them!

Top it off
The rescue of a worthless water bottle was complete with a new screw on SIGG cap. We are on cap #3 thanks to an enthusiastic Schnauzer and a forgetful owner. I got smart this time and bought an extra in case of accident. I figure the cost of a replacement cap is roughly the same as a couple of cases of disposable water bottles, and (when properly cared for) the consistent use of a SIGG water bottle will save many, many discarded plastic bottles from the landfill for eternity.

Sigg bottles are the best but they are costly and if you lose the screw top you have to buy a whole new bottle UNLESS......you find and buy tHESE !!! They fit perfectly on my small, large and super large alike !!! PERFECT FITS. they are well worth the money !!! Just what I needed
Nice to be able to get replacement caps. The ones we had before were difficult to clean, and my youngest - the dishes inspector - was always gripping about them. Clean, neat, easy to use; glad I didn't have to buy new bottles as well.

Good fit
Good fit, looks like genuine Sigg. Given the number of comments about the rubber seal discolouring, like mine also, my only issue is why don’t Sigg, make spare seals available, and stop wasting plastic?

Identical replacement for a 6-year old SIGG bottle
Screw thread of the old top was worn-out after >5 years of weekly use. This identical replacement has given my canteen a new lease of life. Relatively expensive but £10 cheaper than buying a whole new bottle.
