TOP PICK! Compared 3 different brands, 6 different models

I compared three different brands of sports bras and six different models. (I feel like a Wirecutter writer, lol.) The details are below. The factors that were important to me as size G/H were: -strap softness and width, and placement of widest point -number of hooks (impacts bouncing) -breathability of fabric -modesty (downward dog) in physical coverage and in opacity -shaping Notes: I wanted a bra that could breathe but I refuse to have any bounce. Price was not an issue for me but I've included the details below. Weight of breasts should be mainly carried by band around ribcage, not by the shoulders. When new, the closest loop to the hook should fit you so that as you use the bra and the band stretches, you move the hooks toward the farthest loop (closer to the other shoulder blade). Review of shaping is personal preference based on my standard underwire minimizer shaping and breathability (uniboob = more trapped sweat). Conclusion: Chantelle and Panache are not recommended for exercising at all and not recommended for large-breasted women for any use. Glamorise Wirefree are great daily bras and great sports bras but require at least a thin top over them (if you care about that stuff). Glamorise wonderwire is my top pick for sports bra and it is standalone, doesn't require a top. I like this even though it is expensive. It is worth the money. I really like the 'bib' part because it covers the top of my breasts and stops them from poking out, that's why I bought it. When I need another sports bra and I have the money, I'll definitely get another one.

This bra didn't fit me perfectly and not the most attractive sports bra I own but I'm okay with that because it does what it was designed to do and does it well.

My daily bra

I started wearing these bras during the pandemic, and they are so comfortable and durable that I have continued to wear them ever since. They come in a good range of sizes including my slightly less common band to cup ratio. They provide good support and have a nice strap width to distribute the weight of larger breasts.

Surprisingly comfortable and supportive

I gained a lot of weight over the past couple of years and my chest grew to a US H cup size and 34 band. I wear this bra most days when I’m not going to work ans it’s surprisingly comfortable for a sports bra. The shoulders dig a little, but that’s hard for me to avoid in any bra due to the weight of my breasts. I wear it to work out and the most high impact activity I do is jumping rope. My breasts still move about a bit, but they are mostly in control and supported in this bra.

Great brand but size is really BIG!

I love the brand and was excited about trying to find a sports bra that fits well. This bra was way to big. I had to return it and the size I needed, was not offered.

Great sports bra

I have always had to "double up" with my sports bras and wear a regular bra underneath. This is the first sports bra that I can wear alone and not worry. I wear a 36H and do HIIT classes. I get no movement and it is comfortable and easy to get on and off. Absolutely recommend this bra!

Good Bra.

The bra itself fits well, and is supportive and comfortable. They are meant to be hand washed & I'm sure they’d last longer if so..but I’m on my second - a few months apart, and the first wore out from using our machine (wire wore through). Not the greatest longevity machine-washing-wise (which is why I’m guessing it’s hand wash only), but they’re nice while they last!

Fits true to size! Really comfortable

i got more than i expected with this. i bought this thinking worst case scenario i can wear this just at home but its very supportive! the wire are long and come up in between my breast but they don't prod me and this bra has an extra bit of fabric for added protection from the wire, which i really like. The cups are not small, they seem true to size but i think losing weight i lost a cup size so i will order down next time for a very strapped in fit. I do run in mine but its not ideal for faster runs. for every other workout though its fantastic, material hasn't been bad so far for me. nice bra for the price

Great bra, totally worth the money.

Expensive but really worth it, I can’t believe I can skip and there is no bounce! The wires are very well covered so I can’t feel them at all. It’s a really clever design, the adjustable hooks at the front really allow you to choose between a lot of support or “these babies are going absolutely no where” support. I ordered a 34F and it feels perfect and comfortable around the band. In normal non sports bras, I wear 34F (sometimes a 32 G but I know the 32 band in this would have been too tight) so it seems true to size. I have it on the first hook so even if it stretches over time, there’s still a good 1.5 inches I could tighten it by. Lastly, I ordered the coral pink colour and for such a high support bra, it looks pretty cool and not too far from a regular crop to style gym top. I never write reviews but a combination of lockdown boredom and total admiration for this product made me. Love it.

Falling apart after a few weeks

I was so excited to receive this product after reading all the reviews and for the price I couldn’t go wrong trying it out. It’s so difficult finding a great sports bra for heavier chests. It is not as supportive as other reviews have made it seem there’s still lots of jiggle for myself I found. I’m very active athletically I play football, soccer, baseball, kickboxing, hockey and need a high impact support. On initial review the product is made really well, great value for the price and actually comfortable. Make sure you purchase the exact size of the underbust there is no stretch or wiggle room in that area. After a few times of wearing the sports bra the hooks at the back have become loose and are pulling out from the stitching and when I wear it while kettlebell swings or certain movement or move one or two hooks unhook from the back I’m always worried that they will all unhook if I don’t stop to fix it. I will definitely continue to wear it but I’ll have to have it fixed and maybe add a Velcro strap around the hooks so they don’t detach.

Product is nice well made and great support for large breasts. I did use their bra sizer to figure out what to buy but it is way off in calculations, however customer support responded right away I picked a new size that shipped out to me before I returned the other one. I went by my granddaughters usual cup size and that was a perfect fit for the breast area but still required a bra strap extender which was fine. I plan to purchase one for myself I was quite impressed
