Sits a little high but nice hat otherwise...
Purchased these for work in a chemical plant for several of my employees. Overall, what I expected. Comfortable head band, ratchet works well. The only problem I have is that they sit a little high and there's nothing to adjust that....but for the price, I think they're a great hat. I wanted to put ear muff's on the helmet but there is no slot for the muffs to attach to the hat so I purchased these Peltors.3M Peltor Optime 105 Behind-the-Head Earmuff with Neckband (H10B) I have a set of them in my shop that go over the top of your head so I already knew they were comfortable. I picked up these Dewalt Goggles which I've used in my wood shop along with some hearing protection that goes behind your neck instead of over the top.DEWALT DPG82-11C Concealer Clear Anti-Fog Dual Mold Safety Goggle These do come with straps that go over the top, but my guys nor I have used this strap and the muffs seem to stay secure. I tried to add pics above but for some reason, it won't allow me to add them. I needed this band to attach my goggles to the hard hat.Bandit GR9662 Goggle Retainer for Hat, Black Now they're all set. Full rig at a reasonable price!

Damn near as hard as my Irish head...
I guess as hard hats go, this one is about as good as I can expect for the price. I really don't use a hard hat often, but my job requires me to have one on hand when it is needed. Yes, my employer does supply the hard hats, but they are a different style with only a small visor in the front and not the full brim around it. And when my company supplied hat grew legs, I decided to find one with which I would be happier and would be distinctive enough to discourage thieves. I like the style of this one and of course the color red will make me stand out from the crowd. I am impressed with the quality and comfort. I also like the adjustment mechanism.

I was looking for cheap hard hat, found these may not meet the safety standard of our plant.
I would highly suggest verifying the safety standards established at your place of employment before buying this. The head band appeared to be cheaper not up to company specs. Cosmetically they are perfect for the price.

I bought three of these for an install last year, and all in this vibrant blue color. We had no cert stickers on them, but nobody died on the job and with my crew that's amazing. We also didn't look as NOOB as the guys the Sup gave hardhats to with some neon yellow bull. 10/10 would wear again to pass minimum safety standards on a jobsite.

Six strap harness
Always had a four strap suspension rig in my hardhats. I bought the six strap hardhat and the fit is so much more comfortable.
