Okay, here's a first hand review of the product. this was delivered today, worn to the coffee shop, and back. INITIAL THOUGHTS: first of all, is fit: it fits amazing, like crazy good. I love turtle necks because it does bring a sense of sophistication to my usual large sweater attire sets, but they usually lack a sense of posh, which this does lack due to the inherent fraying ( its 100% cotton, can't do anything about that ), but with that said; this is one of the most comfortable things I have ever worn. I can comfortable state that this is going to be part of my daily rotation for my work clothing. Sad thing is, the colours are limited, and I'm pretty sure the lighter colours would look better than the darker ones due to it being 100% cotton. A slight polyester mix would've been ideal, but I know people are going to go haywire antagonizing that small polyester impurity despite it helping the product's longevity. Personally, This is a win for me, but the finish and the inherent fuzzing really makes it a deal breaker. Wish there was a way to get this thing much cheaper, because at 32 dollars a pop its expensive. WILL I BUY ONE AGAIN? yeah, if it ever goes on sale. I paid full price for those two that I bought and I immediately feel buyers remorse haha. this doesn't feel like a 32 dollars sadly, I suggest buying it if does go on sale (if it ever does go on sale to say the least) I wish amazon would put their "amazon basic" products more on sale so more people would be inclined to buy them. It is a tangent for such a criticism but I do believe that if you want to put emphasis on selling your own brands, put them on the daily deals. COMPETITION: It seems like good threads is an amazon basics sub brand, but slightly more upscale. I'll give that one a review if I ever purchase one, but for the prices those things command, I doubt ill ever give them a chance lol ( 46 dollars - hell no ). id rather get a nice branded one from the bay thank you. Kallspin is another good brand but again, for 40+ dollars, thats another no no for me. My hope is that HANES would start selling turtle necks, and keep them under 20 dollars, if those ever happen, im buying them in sets haha. get like 5 of them for every day use at work. FINAL THOUGHTS: I'll update this review once I've worn them enough and I've given them a couple of washes ( in accordance to standard cotton washing procedures ) and see if the fuzziness gets worse. Id say its not a bad deal if, and ONLY IF you need a comfortable pair sent to you as soon as possible, and/or if you don't really want other brands ( which is highly unlikely ). For the most part, get these things on sale, or don't get them at all.
