Good value for the price

Fit my windows perfectly but they are a little thinner than i expected. They have help up great over the past couple of months so the thickness doesnt matter

Latch sticks out too far

This did fit in my 20 year old Patriot window but the latch sticks out the side too far and would not catch. After filing it down about an 1/8th inch the latch did catch. Would not want to have to do that on every window, there must be a better model out there that will fit better.

Appears to be the same as original

I had a couple parts break on my new double hung windows. I installed this part myself and it appears to be the same as the original. My windows now work like they did when they were new.

Fit my windows from 2001

This worked great for us. It was the closest measurement to my broken one. I got in a couple days and it slide in perfectly. The slide is a little tight I think bc it’s new. My windows are from 2001. Couldn’t be happier.

Not there fault, but wrong piece. There are a bunch of measurements and shapes you have to match up.

Almost an Exact fit !

Well after removing the old latch and sliding in the new latch ( which was an exact match ) The problem arose when I went to latch the window in place, they wouldn't engage with the track on the window frame . Well not a big deal if you are a handy man. I remove the latches from the window, got out my dremel tool and shaved off about an eighth of an inch off the tab on the latches. Stuck them back in the window and now they were a perfect fit. I hope these will last longer than the original latches .

My fault.

Didn't fit our window. My fault, the new one has a piece that sticks out to the side that I didn't see on the diagram.

Don't be intimidated

Our house is fairly old and I don't know anything about windows so I was weary. Measured existing brackets, ordered these, and when it came time to install it took maybe less than a minute? Old ones slid out with ease with my Leatherman pliers and the new ones went in even easier. Very happy

Incorrect Ad Images

I didn't notice the reviews upon ordering. Nice latches but what you receive is not what's in the pictures. The first image in the add is incorrect, the other two that follow are more accurate. You will get the latches in the two final images, not the main ad pic. Had to return them.
