Didn’t stay fastened

That product works only if the fastener doesn’t come loose. The slightest movement detaches the button from the underlying pin.

Not for thick pants

Purchased to replace a button that fell off of pair of pants I got from Amazon. The pin was long enough but the clasp was not strong enough to stay in place when buttoning the button. I gave it 4 stars because it is perfect for a shirt, and perfect for replacing a button that isn't supposed to move, that is there for design or something , but a studier closure would have made a world of different, like if were to screw on or clip in place instead of sliding on and off a rubber closure.

Not a viable solution for thick fabric

This is not good for thicker fabrics. The tacks and backs don't snap well and you won't get a good working button. The first one I tried on a thicker shirt (standard polo) wouldn't stay together. Also, after trying to push the two pieces together the button itself came off the pin! At least I have an extra viable button to sew on!

Good but not so good????

These are great for thin single layer fabric but they will not work for thick fabric I wish they would make some for thicker fabric that would not come apart

These are great for if you want to make a non-button down shirt into a button down temporarily! The backs don't stay on very well though.

Great solution for missing button, or to instantly make my shirt collar a button-down

Useless

If there was some rating less than a star I would give it. The button and its backing easily come apart. You cannot even use this for a temporary solution to a lost button. I attempted to use one to replace a shirt button, and it came apart when attempt to use it. So, forget it and learn how to sew a button.

Cool idea

Work really well, the backing stays on securely and can be used on any fabric. Great idea for gaping button up shirts.
