same stuff we had in grade school if you are in your 40s+ It works exactly as I remember and zero complaints. Nice price as well.

Excellent Masking Tape

This tape's adhesion properties are very good. But what I also like about it is that it's easily removable, which makes it perfect for home improvement jobs, arts and crafts, anything. The tape is available in different widths. They came in a package of three which was an excellent deal.

Not as advertised

1st: Online, it's written .75" width, but when it arrives, the package writes .7" #2: it doesn't adhere well to a lot of surfaces: glass, plastic... I never experienced such poor quality

How to keep your Scotch Masking tape adhesion fail-proof.

You need to keep your rolls of Scotch masking tape in sealed plastic bags at all times from the get-go. I find a quart slider bag to be more convenient for the roll of tape currently in use; place the remaining rolls in regular sealable sandwich bags. This solution was discovered when the current roll I was using became unusable due to adhesive failure, but realized that the rolls I had purchased at the same time but placed in sealed sandwich bags were as good as new. Works like a charm!

Tape That Actually Sticks - A Novel Idea

As a preschool teacher, it seems I spend half of my life re-taping up art projects that fall off the wall. Seriously, the very expensive tape we get through our school orders does not even stick to itself. While it irks me to have to buy my own tape (along with everything else) for my classroom, this purchase is well worth it for my sanity. In fact, not only does this tape actually hold projects on the wall, it is so strong that we have to use more care in taking the projects off the wall so they don't rip as we take them down. I'll be ordering more of this tape to hand out as a "welcome back" gift at the beginning of the next school year because the other teachers are constantly stopping by to borrow my "good" tape. It is harder to hang on to then a good pair of scissors =)

The tape is what it is... just plain ol masking tape. For most basic uses, it should be fine. I wish there was a little more tape on each roll. They are actually pretty bare. The adhesion is good for what I use it for. I have experienced cases where it leaves a little bit of residue. Not a problem for me but I would not use this for painting.

Check the inner circle band to get the best adhesive for your buck

We came upon these rolls of Scotch brand and have stuck with them because of the adhesive strength and variety of tape widths. Check the inner circle band to get the best adhesive for your buck. If the inside roll is yellow or red it is pretty good and will give you the best sticking tape. These rolls are sometimes even hard to get off when we need to so, they are exactly what we need. Avoid masking tape with the inside roll that are white. Scotch brand seems to be the best all around company to buy.

Above average quality

Above average quality masking tape. Goes on easily and comes off clean. Starts to come up at the ends after a while but honestly, masking tape isn't designed to be a long term adhesive solution. It's really just to mask off areas for a short time and then be removed. Still works better than a lot of the generic or no name brand masking tapes I've used in the past. Especially in regards to how cleanly it comes off.
