Tough built, comfortable all day long, excellent padding, but too heavy and stiff for long use.
In general, I think these boots are okay, but I have a few complaints. I mean, if these boots were from some random manufacturer, I would give them a higher rating but coming from SATA sets higher expectations and higher standards. Overall, they are very well made, there are no bad stitches or glue spots, and they have exceptionally clean and solid construction. I really like the rough high-traction profile of the sole, the hill is not too high and when you walk it does not give you a "lift". The sole is very thick and adds about 3/4" to the boot's height. Also, compared to regular footwear the sole is very stiff, I don't think you'd want to hike in these any time soon. The toes area is very stiff and rigid as well, which is understandable taking into account that these shoes provide full feet protection against nails and impact. The boots size run a bit large, I always wear 9.5US and ordered 10US as they don't have a 9.5 size at all, it's either 9 or 10. I feel that they fit too loose, and I wish I'd ordered 9 instead. The toes section of the boots is very "roomy" and high enough not to create pressure on my toenails when I walk. The top side is made of leather and microfiber, which is at the same time both breathable and moisture resistant, helping to keep your feet dry all day long. Putting them on and off is super easy as well, I don't need any shoehorn to put them on, my foot slides in and out like it's oiled. Shoelaces are thick and easy to lace up. Though, I'd rather prefer a "quick-lace" style system (sliding buckle) just like Salomon running shoes have vs traditional lace knots. Also, they are very heavy weighting, more than half a kilo each, so I wouldn't consider them for daily wear. For comparison, my hiking Solomon boots weigh 250 grams only. I'm not planning on doing any hiking with these boots of course. So, let's summarize. *** TL;DR *** I definitely recommend them but only for doing some heavy-duty construction work. I can't recommend them for daily regular wear, they are too heavy and too stiff for that IMHO. They will make great boots for the environment where you need lots of foot protection. They are tough, comfortable, have excellent padding, provide outstanding feet protection, and will serve you well if you match your feet size. I'd give it 5 stars, but they don't make my size 9.5 and 10 is too loose for me, therefore I'm knocking down one star. Solid 4 stars. +++ Pros +++ 1) Very well made. 2) Excellent sole traction. 3) Easy to put on and off. 4) Excellent toes and feet protection. 5) Upper is breathable yet moisture resistant. --- Cons --- 1) Run too large, the fit is loose. 2) Don't come in 9.5US size. 3) Very heavy, 602 grams each. 4) Stiff and thick sole. 5) Not for daily regular wear.

Unique Design, Tough, Unexpectedly Comfortable
To be honest, after working many years in factory environments where safety footwear is required, I never knew there was such a thing as "safety tennis shoes"-- I've always worn (and seen) boots. Since my workplace has grown accustomed to seeing boots everywhere, these probably wouldn't be accepted in my current employment, but, after wearing them outside of work, if your employer is open to something different, these shoes should do the job. They have a steel toe, are very sturdy, and are water-resistant. They also have a deep tread-- which should come in really handy if you live in a Northern climate as I do, and like to wear tennis shoes outside in the Winter: the grippy tread and aforementioned water-resistance should make these about the best non-boot footwear to wear outside in snowy conditions. The one drawback of a work shoe like this with a steel toe, as you might imagine, is that these are heavy. You are definitely going to feel these on your feet while you are out and about-- but that is to be expected from a work shoe. Otherwise, they are surprisingly comfortable. I did order my pair a half-size larger than I normally wear for a recreational shoe, as I like my "working" footwear a little roomy (I normally wear a size 9.5, and ordered a size 10). A good, solid pair of shoes, which should last a long time (my regular shoes usually last me at least one year, but these sturdy shoes, I expect, will last at least a couple years, if not three or four or five). I am very satisfied with these shoes.

Good enough
It's a good shoes but I was expecting it to look a little better than how it really is. It's comfortable and fits just right

Nice shoes - a little small though
These shoes look nice and feel well-constructed. The materials are nice to the touch and seem durable, and the protected toe area is pretty heavy duty. The laces are sturdy and knots don't seem to slip out, and the soles are non-marking (as far as I can tell). Arch support is ample, though I'm not a big fan of the textured insert, and overall the shoe is fairly stiff. All in all I like them. They're a little on the small edge of the sizing, so I'd order up a half size, they seem like they're going to last pretty well! 4 stars. My feet are very wide, and the wide size isn't quite wide enough. I will wear them and report back if anything changes, but I think these are pretty good.

Great safety shoes for a great price! And name brand!
Got these shoes because I needed a pair of steel toed shoes for work and these don't disappoint! I've had them for a few months now and they've held up we'll (even a few drops of heavy things on my feet, which is why I got them!) They're fairly comfortable for a person with wide feet like myself Durability seems good they haven't torn on me on the worksites and haven't been punctured by screws or nails either and they have a great look for wearing outside of work as well!

Well made shoes
This pair of safety shoes is well made, has an ok amount of cushion in the bottom for comfort, has good traction, and a good solid steel toe. In my last picture, my finger indicates where the steel toe begins and it goes all the way to the tip of the toe. My husband wore them for a day and a half, and his only complaint was the heel and the tongue of the shoe irritating him slightly, but that is typically of any new shoe that needs to be worn in. The shoes fit true to size. These shoes are nice and a good value. Thanks for reading my review, I hope it was helpful :)
