Good Quality Shoes

Just like the classic ones I used to wear in the 1980’s! Now bravely taking adult ballet classes as a 60 year old. Wanted leather material and split pads on bottom of slippers. Elastic straps already sewn on. They feel small and somewhat tight (I ordered an 8.5 and I wear an 8.5 women’s shoe.) but I have very wide feet. I wore them around the house for a few weeks and they stretched out a bit. Plus, I like a tighter fit to my ballet shoes Was happy to get these at a discounted price.

My daughter’s favorite ballet shoe

We keep going back to these. We tried the canvas style for a bit but my daughter really didn’t like the way those felt. She loves the leather.

Try your best to get the right size.

I had read somewhere that you do not want the shoe to be too loose, so I went with my regular size of 6.5. However, the shoe looked too small

Very low quality compared to my old ones

The materials seem cheap and uncomfortable. My last pair of leather divided sole technique shoes lasted years. If I was going to wear these, they probably wouldn't make it very long. I don't know because the seams were in weird places to me, they hurt my feet, especially my heels, and I'm not wearing them again. I'm going to an in-person dance supply store to try on some shoes to try to find some that are the quality of my last pair. I strongly disliked these.

High-quality Capezio product.

Extremely happy with these ballet slippers. The straps were already sewn on (although the advertisement stated they were not), but they were the proper length so this was not an issue for me. Quality leather is soft, supple, and durable. Good cushion. Definitely order a size and a half to two sizes up from your regular shoe size, depending upon the fit you desire. I wear a 7.5 in a running shoe, 7.5-8 dress shoe and ordered the 9.5 and it fits perfectly for me (not too loose or binding in the toes). I do have a little extra room at the bottom of the shoe at the back of the heel, but (surprise!) everyone's heel is not shaped the same and this extra bit of room does not affect my use of the slippers.

Runs Really Small

As with most Capezio split-sole shoes I find on Amazon, they run really really small. Daughter is wearing a 3 in a different Capezio ballet shoe, I ordered a 4, and it was just too small. Shoe itself is of expected quality and shipping was immediate. We got it the next day.
