2nd time was a charm

Ordered these for a gift. The first pair they sent weren’t even sandals so had to ship back and reorder. Kind of a hassle. 2nd pair worked out I would say they run dead on they are adjustable.

No half steppin'

Wish there were 1/2 sizes available. I got a 7 and they are a little big. I LOVE them tho'!! They fit well enough

Awesome shoes until they broke.

These broke after a few weeks use. They fit really well, a bit tight on me across the center of the foot at first but the leather wore in fast and then they were perfect. I followed the other reviews and chose a size down 8, instead of my normal 9. Footbed the perfect size. It was cool being tall. Broke along the strap connecting the ankle strap to the sole on the left foot. I think the sole is heavier than the strap would ultimately support. They kinda do the flop sound when you walk, and I think that the strap strains when the sole is pulling down and you are lifting up. I'm returning these and trying again with some gladiator platforms. Hopefully those survive better because they have more connections to the sole

Cheap cheap cheap! I purchased these to replace my DM Rykers. They are NOT the same quality. The soles are cheaper (foam) and they are not as comfortable (foot bed). With a Side by side comparison you would think these were a different brand than the Docs I know and love. I’ll still wear them but they are definitely not my “go to” summer shoe like my Rykers have been. Seems like Doc Martens are hit and miss lately, every other pair I buy are cheap crap, but sometimes I get lucky and get a quality pair, which energizes my enthusiasm for the brand just to get let down again with the next purchase. With the inconsistent products for the prices I might just have to go back to Fluevogs and give up on the Docs altogether. ????

It’s all that it says

Doc Martens have always been known for their quality and this delivers! Not to mention, it’s very cute and stylish on! Very well made! I hope it lasts me a very long while. They are a bit heavy on, and I normally wear a size 7.5, sometimes 8, and had to size down according to other reviews I’ve read. The straps can be as tight as you want which is nice, plenty of holes close together. I’m sure it’ll feel better after more breaking in. Badass sandals!
